    I have lived in the UK, France, Germany, Canada, United States and now back to Nigeria. The United States remains the best country in the entire universe to live in. The freaking best! The opportunities are endless and you won't be fulfilled living abroad unless you have lived in the United States. God bless the USA. My family and I will move there some day in the future once my kpali clicks.

    There is loneliness everywhere but the degree is different. In America we run from fellow Africans here because they are more evil than your household witches. If you have found friend who genuinely root for you in diaspora, abeg don't joke with them because the street is not smiling here. You have a lot to protect and less to loose . Loneliness is just a phase, but make sure you have a family you are spending your energy and time with because singles abroad suffer more anxiety and loneliness.

    Daddy Freeze is the man with a good topic!
    Japa = overseas+ step
    Step 1: Get a job ( job or black job)
    Step 2: Stay out of debt but create an emergency fund.
    Step 3: Get education.
    step 4: Get insurance.
    Step 4: Live below your means.
    Step 5: Budget.
    Step 6: Invest ( Reits, Index fund, Roth IRA, 401k, business, freelance, etc.)
    Step 7: Trust in God, trust your self and trust your process and progress.
    It is not easy anywhere but you can make it anywhere!
    I studied marine engineering and nautical science with two kids, so " children shouldn't be the excuse!
    Thank you!

    The gentleman has said it all. It's so so lonely. Everyone is on their own. I hope Tinubu will make changes so people won't have to Japa. Japa is not what you think. Think properly, analyse before you make a move to settle abroad. It's an elusion of grandeur, but it's a long way to it. Hard work, perseverance, tolerance and lots and lots of cold is what you will have to endure. You are welcome if Japa is your decision. All the best. Nice topic Daddy Freeze.

    Please fellow nigeria we should all invest in our country nigeria, that is how we can make nigeria great again, if we don't invest in our country other people from different countries will take over our country from us,we don't know the value of what we have until it is gone that old man is taking rushed, if you don't have money to invest in nigeria then don't do it but if you have money please everybody invest in nigeria. Some people will say nigeria is not a good country but every year they go to nigeria to enjoy themselves, when you say that nigeria is not good why going over there then stay where you are and work till you die, period. I know some people saying that nigeria is not a good country but at the back of you they are investing in nigeria. You only talk about the work money, work, job but fail to talk about the expenses. You get paid and the system collects the money through various outrageous bills. My sister pays an equivalent of N1.5M per month for house rent. Iand yet the house is not a beautiful and spacious as my 2 bedroom apartment that I pay N500,000 a YEAR for. You're just working there to pay bills. Naija is fun. Our only problem here is bad governance. But you have a high chance of making it overnight in Nigeria than abroad.
