Hello! Sorry for the late response. I think you can use a different IRCC account. I find that it does not really matter which GCkey account you use because at the end of the day, you’d have to provide your UCI number (Unique client identifier). Some students had a consultant/ representative applying for them when they were applying for student visa, and did their own for the PGWP. As long as you link your application with your UCI, you should be fine. Hope this helps! 😁

Hello there! Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it. I am not so sure about that. My friends who took an 8-month program were only granted 1 year PGWP. I do not personally know someone who was granted 3 years. Adding a letter of explanation is worth a try. It would be fantastic if you’re granted a 3-year PGWP. Let me know if it works! The education section is confusing, shouldn't you fill in the education/program you took in Canada (the one you're applying PGWP for) rather than from your home country??
Hi Arnold. It depends which section you are referring to. If it’s the highest educational attainment section, you should declare your highest educational attainment. It happens that I have a bachelor’s degree which I earned from my home country, so that’s what I declared. Bachelor’s is higher than diploma anyways. But if your highest educational attainment was your education here in Canada, then you should declare your Canadian education. Hope this helps 😁

Hi! Great question. It didn’t take long before I got my pgwp after receiving the biometrics. I want to say 3-4 weeks, but of course each application is different. I am not a visa officer and I am not an expert to the matter. I am merely sharing my experience. Anyhow, that’s great news that we receive your email for biometrics. I do not know much about the specifics of the documents, but usually you want to declare your most recent unexpired passport, then have your old passport as part of the supporting document, if that makes sense. It is always better to send an inquiry to IRCC if you’re not sure on what to do. They usually take a while to reply, but at least you are safe. Hope this helps 😅

Hello there! I used the same GCKey for my application. I did my study permit as DIY. But, you can create another account for this, specifically when you used consultants for your study permit. You will be asked to link your study permit number in the application anyway, so nothing to worry about 😁 Hope this helps !

Hello! It is best to refer to the notes and ask the IRCC to confirm. Each study permit is different. Mine has a note stating that I can work. My friend did not have the same note but after confirming with IRCC, he was given a notice that he can work off campus. It is better safe than risk it 😄 I am certain that IRCC would be considerate. i have a medical exam expiring nov 25. when i click yes on the medical exam question it ends up with me having to submit it. but the processing time for these pgwp applications can take up to 180 days . does that mean i will have to do another medical exam at some point ? or will they not ask for it even after it expires?
Hello there! I didn’t submit a medical exam because the program that I did and the work I wanted to apply for did not mandate a medical. For what I know, you have to submit a medical exam that is valid for 6 months. For good measure, it is better to submit a medical exam that is valid. If you insist to submit a medical exam that is near expiring, understand your risks. I hope this helps 😃
@@AlbEartha thank you for replying. i did a 1 year program and now im applying for my pgwp. as you know its mandatory to do a medical exam when applying for a study permit. and since it hasnt been 12 months since i did it, it is still valid, for like a month and a half. my program is business , so i dont intend to work in a medical field too but i was just confused about the submission of medical exam part . most of my friends who have done 2 year programs (which means their medical exams have expired by now) do not have to submit anything. just 4 documents(passport, photo, transcripts, completion letter)

You need medical if: 1.If you lived in one or more designated countries or territories for more than 6 months in the past year 2.if you intent to work in one of the following jobs -health sciences worker -clinical laboratory worker -patient attendant in nursing or geriatric homes -medical student admitted to Canada to attend university -medical elective or physician on short term assignment -reaching of primary or secondary school or teachers of small children -domestic worker, someone who gives in-home care to children, the elderly and the disabled -day nursery worker If you do not intent to work on any of the jobs listed above , then medical exam is not required. Hello there! When I received my PGWP, I also received an electronic travel authorization (eTA) which allows me to come back to Canada even without a tourist visa. My friends who also applied recently received an eTA. It is a new initiative from the Canadian Immigration. Hello po. That is actually a gray area. Tho sa letter po ng school ko, it stated na while waiting for the official transcript and PGWP letter, 20 hours lang po ang allowed. Pero there was an extension na international students are allowed to work for more than 20 hours until April 2023. I chose to be safe and worked within 20 hours po. Also as soon as I received my transcript and PGWP, I stopped working until I received a correspondence letter form the IRCC na implied status na po ako. About 1 week din po akong nag stop work while waiting. Hope this helps! 😁

I also have friends na nauna yung PGWP since they believe na mas mabilis lumabas yung PGWP approval. Both scenarios naman po, narelease yung PGWP and extension ng OWP. Hi Eartha, question, regarding dun sa different situation, pasok ako dun sa accelerated studies, it says in your video na need nung "letter confirming the length of program" will I receive that letter from the school or should I request it? or the TOR will suffice? Another thing, I also have a coop permit, but during my studies, BVC did not require the coop experience anymore, should I still attach it as supporting documents even if I did not use that coop permit? Hello po. If you studied po sa Bow Valley College, no need to request na po for another letter. BVC will provide a PGWP letter and official transcript of records at the same time. Ang PGWP letter po confirms yung length of study nyo po. I was also issued ng Coop permit, and same thing, hindi ko na din po nagamit since domestic students nalang po Ang makakapag coop. Although that happened, you still need to disclose and attach that sa supporting documents since it’s a permit issued to you pa rin po. Hope this help 😁 please don’t hesitate to ask po in case you have more questions 😄

Hello po! That’s a great question. The form did not restrict na highest Canadian education po. Ang nilagay ko po is yung highest education ko which is Bachelor’s degree na naearn ko from Philippines. As far as I know din po, Bachelors is higher sa diploma. Moreover, may area sa form where you can key in kung anong country and city mo nakuha yung highest education, which is not restrictive to Canada. I got my PGWP naman po despite putting yung bachelors degree ko sa Philippines, so I supposed what I did was right 🤷🏾♀️🤣. Hope this provides clarification po 😁

Hello po. From what I learned from my batchmates with OWP and dependents, they find it better na magfile ng sabay for the reason na isang asikaso lang. They find na there is no significant difference between submitting ng sabay and submitting separately. None of my friends waited to get a job muna before applying. We did not see the benefit po of doing so. Hope this helps 😁

Hello! Yes po, sa school ko, completion of studies is titled as PGWP letter. So I would say it depends on your school. But basically the letter states kung when ka naggraduate and courses you took + delivery. IMM5710, no need nang print. Digital signature lang po ako then validate. If you want to send your application via post office, then that’s the time na you print everything. Hope this helps 😁
Hello po. Letter of completion and official transcript po are required and mandatory requirements para sa PGWP processing. Personally, I waited for both before po ako nag pass since I did not want to risk any cause for delay ng PGWP ko po. You may try po, but be cautious and submit your application on your own risk. 😁

Hello po, I appreciate your feedback. To answer your question: 1.I remember just putting Bachelors degree lang po since the form does not allow for long characters. Bachelors should be good enough unless there is a specific place sa form po that asks for field of study. 2. I suggest to disclose po yung first denial ng international student visa nyo po, so you can apply in good faith. My friends and I believe na it’s better po to provide all the details since the immigration officer can see po yung records nyo. It might not look good if hindi nyo po i-disclose. Then of the form permits, explain po briefly what happened sa 1st application nyo. Good luck po sa pagapply ng PGWP! Hope your application runs smoothly, and marelease po yung PGWP nyo early! Hello there! When I received my PGWP, I also received an electronic travel authorization (eTA) which allows me to come back to Canada even without a tourist visa. My friends who also applied recently received an eTA. It is a new initiative from the Canadian Immigration. Regardless, I will check if I can create a mock TVA and create a tutorial 😁 thank you for the suggestion! I appreciate

Hello po. That is actually a gray area. Tho sa letter po ng school ko, it stated na while waiting for the official transcript and PGWP letter, 20 hours lang po ang allowed. Pero there was an extension na international students are allowed to work for more than 20 hours until April 2023. I chose to be safe and worked within 20 hours po.
Also as soon as I received my transcript and PGWP, I stopped working until I received a correspondence letter form the IRCC na implied status na po ako. About 1 week din po akong nag stop work while waiting. Hope this helps! 😁

Hello po. I’m glad you find this helpful! I have friends na sinabay na nila yung application ng PGWP and OWP extension para wala na daw. I also have friends na nauna yung PGWP since they believe na mas mabilis lumabas yung PGWP approval. Both scenarios naman po, narelease yung PGWP and extension ng OWP. I guess it depends po kung saan kayo mas comfortable😃 Hope this helps!
Hi Eartha, question, regarding dun sa different situation, pasok ako dun sa accelerated studies, it says in your video na need nung "letter confirming the length of program" will I receive that letter from the school or should I request it? or the TOR will suffice?
Another thing, I also have a coop permit, but during my studies, BVC did not require the coop experience anymore, should I still attach it as supporting documents even if I did not use that coop permit? Thanks, girl!
Hello po. If you studied po sa Bow Valley College, no need to request na po for another letter. BVC will provide a PGWP letter and official transcript of records at the same time. Ang PGWP letter po confirms yung length of study nyo po.
I was also issued ng Coop permit, and same thing, hindi ko na din po nagamit since domestic students nalang po Ang makakapag coop. Although that happened, you still need to disclose and attach that sa supporting documents since it’s a permit issued to you pa rin po. Hi Miss Eartha, regarding the education section po, clarify ko lang po na sa Philippines na education yung ibig mong sabihin na ilagay doon since Bachelor's degree ako don, then 2-year program post-graduate diploma lang po dito sa canada? Hindi po ba yung canadian education yung ilalagay ko dito since this is for a PGWP application for canada po? Just wanted to clarify po. Thank you.
Hello po! That’s a great question. The form did not restrict na highest Canadian education po. Ang nilagay ko po is yung highest education ko which is Bachelor’s degree na naearn ko from Philippines. As far as I know din po, Bachelors is higher sa diploma. Moreover, may area sa form where you can key in kung anong country and city mo nakuha yung highest education, which is not restrictive to Canada.
I got my PGWP naman po despite putting yung bachelors degree ko sa Philippines, so I supposed what I did was right 🤷🏾♀️🤣. Hope this provides clarification po 😁

Hello po, I only have logistics left na book. I’ve sold na po yung Iba 😄 My friends din po, they sell books every end of the term kaya wala na din po silang books. You can check 2nd hand books po sa bookstore, or FB marketplace. Hope this helps!

Hello po. From what I learned from my batchmates with OWP and dependents, they find it better na magfile ng sabay for the reason na isang asikaso lang. They find na there is no significant difference between submitting ng sabay and submitting separately. None of my friends waited to get a job muna before applying. We did not see the benefit po of doing so. Hope this helps 😁

Hello! Yes po, sa school ko, completion of studies is titled as PGWP letter. So I would say it depends on your school. But basically the letter states kung when ka naggraduate and courses you took + delivery.
IMM5710, no need nang print. Digital signature lang po ako then validate. If you want to send your application via post office, then that’s the time na you print everything. Hope this helps 😁

Hello po. Letter of completion and official transcript po are required and mandatory requirements para sa PGWP processing. Personally, I waited for both before po ako nag pass since I did not want to risk any cause for delay ng PGWP ko po. You may try po, but be cautious and submit your application on your own risk. 😁

Hello, Ms. Eartha, thank you! This is a very informative video. I'm planning to apply for my PGWP next week po kasi and I just have some questions po sana about some parts sa form po.
1) In the EDUCATION section, is it okay to just put the word bachelor's degree, or do I need to put the field of study? Or is it also okay to use the word BS in hospitality management?
2) In the BACKGROUND INFORMATION po in (2b) there's a question po na "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory? " My first application po kasi for a study permit got refused. What details po do I need to provide in the box below? Do I need to indicate the refusal grounds, or will just a simple "My first application for a study permit got refused" do?

Hello po, I appreciate your feedback. To answer your question:
1.I remember just putting Bachelors degree lang po since the form does not allow for long characters. Bachelors should be good enough unless there is a specific place sa form po that asks for field of study.
2. I suggest to disclose po yung first denial ng international student visa nyo po, so you can apply in good faith. My friends and I believe na it’s better po to provide all the details since the immigration officer can see po yung records nyo. It might not look good if hindi nyo po i-disclose. Then of the form permits, explain po briefly what happened sa 1st application nyo.
