    • @AlbEartha
      @AlbEartha 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! I do not know much about the specifics of the documents, but usually you want to declare your most recent unexpired passport, then have your old passport as part of the supporting document, if that makes sense. It is always better to send an inquiry to IRCC if you’re not sure on what to do. They usually take a while to reply, but at least you are safe. Hope this helps 😅

    • @AlbEartha
      @AlbEartha 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, sorry for the late response. Great question. It depends since both institutions offer different courses. If you’re coming to a country like the Philippines where “college” means any institution that offers tertiary education, then you can get a little confused. Here college means institutions offering diploma programs (2 year programs) while university offers bachelor’s programs and higher. So if you’re planning to take a 2 year program, BVC would be a better choice. I’m not sure if Mount Royal offers diploma programs. If you plan to study Bachelors or masters, definitely Mount Royal. Unless you want to take nursing. I think BVC offers nursing program, not MRU. I might be wrong tho. Hope this helps!

    • @AlbEartha
      @AlbEartha 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Sorry for the late response. I think you can use a different IRCC account. I find that it does not really matter which GCkey account you use because at the end of the day, you’d have to provide your UCI number (Unique client identifier). Some students had a consultant/ representative applying for them when they were applying for student visa, and did their own for the PGWP. As long as you link your application with your UCI, you should be fine. Hope this helps! 😁

    The education section is confusing, shouldn't you fill in the education/program you took in Canada (the one you're applying PGWP for) rather than from your home country??

    • @AlbEartha
      @AlbEartha ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Arnold. It depends which section you are referring to. If it’s the highest educational attainment section, you should declare your highest educational attainment. It happens that I have a bachelor’s degree which I earned from my home country, so that’s what I declared. Bachelor’s is higher than diploma anyways. But if your highest educational attainment was your education here in Canada, then you should declare your Canadian education. Hope this helps 😁

      Hello! It is best to refer to the notes and ask the IRCC to confirm. Each study permit is different. Mine has a note stating that I can work. My friend did not have the same note but after confirming with IRCC, he was given a notice that he can work off campus. It is better safe than risk it 😄 I am certain that IRCC would be considerate. Hope this helps 😃

Tas kamusta nmn po ung pkikitungo sa mga pinoy na matagal na jan? Sabi nila din parang may hate/ ayaw nila din ng international student daw eh.

      Hello! Well, in my experience, ok naman. I didn’t feel any different. If you start comparing and picking on things you might probably feel slighted. It’s a reality na there is a huge difference between eastern and western culture and unfortunately, most people who feel bad were those na nahirapang mag-adjust with the cultural differences. But of course, please take what I say with a grain of salt. There are other factors pa rin naman to consider. With work, a lot of employers hire international students naman. I never had issues applying for work and interacting with people as an international student. Even now that I am working. The people I met were actually more interested na I am an international student. Most employers tho are particular with working hours. Of course, as an international student, don’t expect to be hired in a full time job. If you explain the restrictions ng working as an international students, employers are reasonable naman. If you apply for a part time position, you’ll most likely be hired specially with the hours restriction. Hope this helps. Each experience is different. The better way of seeing things is to prep yourself to face whichever challenge that comes your way. I choose not to be involved sa toxic relationships regardless if it’s pinoy or other nationals 😁

You can confirm po sa campus of your choice how blended courses would reflect sa PGWP letter. Maybe you can provide details about sa new news ng IRCC(as they are many) and I can confirm. • @AlbEartha

      Hello Nora, thank you for reaching out! 😁 I would be a bit biased, I would still suggest to go for Supply Chain. But, I know a lot of people who didn’t take supply chain who also managed to get a job right after graduation as well. Also there are factors like seasonality, organizational fitness and urgency that affect employment. I suggest that you speak with a campus career advisor to help you have an informed decision 😁 good luck 😁
