Just heard this moving worship song and moved my heart to truly break anew. For He she'd His life's blood for even the likes of me. He loved me before I could love myself. I truly needed this revival of my heart today. HALLELUJAH PRAISE THE LORD. May this touch each and every heart that hears this ❤
I heard this song for the first time this summer and it moved me so much. Jesus does deserve a fiery love that won't ignore His sacrifice. Larnelle sings with such emotion and passion, truly beautiful.
A SINGER OF HIS PRAISES AND GOSPEL WITNESS TELLING UP HOW PRICELESS IT IS TO BE REPENTING AND SAVE BY THE BLOOD AND WORD OF JESUS(GOD-ALMIGHTY) AND THE WORDS OF HIS PROMISE TO FORGIVE RESTORE AND REMEDY OUR LIVES FREELY AS WE COME TO HIM FREELY IN ALL WAYS AND THINGS TO HIS CROSS AND CURE!!!!! AMEN TIMES INFINITY!!!!
WOW! This man of God's gift is BEAUTIFUL in his voice and the way his whole heart is in it to give! WHO in their right mind could give a thumbs down💔 Someone who needs Jesus I'm sure!
Mr. Harris you are one of my favorite singers of all time. You and I studied Voice from the same teacher at Western Kentucky University. Mr. OHM PAULI was my teacher and he was a great person as well. He spoke of you many time. You are truly amazing. I cry many times listening to you sing....kennl Hobson .
Larnelle Harris, you are truly "The Singers' Singer!" Thank you for always raising the bar! I could listen to you for hours and hours! Filled with God's presence, poetically refreshing, and scripturally accurate! Still wonderful, my friend!
ALL GLORY TO GOD, AND BLESSINGS TO LARNELLE, THE GOOD WORK OF SPREADING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL REALITY. MAY WE ALWAYS BE HUMBLE BEFORE OUR LOVING FATHER AND HIS OBEDIENT SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT WHO CARRIES US TO THE FATHER IN GRACE AND TRUTH.
Thank you Jesus for paying such a high price to set us free from the bondage of sin. We love you and can't wait to see you face to face one day soon! Larnelle you are truly blessed with amazing talent to sing this song so passionately!
This is a song of Praise, believe it. Praise refocuses us onto what is important in HIS eyes: God Himself. Praise was never meant to be fashionable, the newest christian hit, or that which sounds good or makes us tingle. Those things are only the imitation, which are wood and hay, not true praise. This servants' spirit is demanded by Him, a spirit of humility that turns from the noise of the common towards His HOLY face, His Cross of Love, HIS BLOOD which cleanses our SINS. Sing it servant of the Most High! Continue to show mankind what praise truly looks, sounds, and feels like; touching the heart and melting us into more moldable clay, causing repentance; to HIM it's due. "Let everything that hath breath..........................
I love this song. From our perspective the price of redemption truly demonstrates our unworthiness and proves God's grace. I imagine, from God's perspective, however, a lesser payment would neither redeem us, nor would it fully vindicate His glory, which had been so offended by sin. Thank you, Lord, for such a full and free (to us) salvation! And thanks for posting.
Thank you for you comment, Alvene. If you are not familiar with "The Passion of the Christ," then you will not know this actor is Jim Caviezel who portrayed Christ. I saw the picture and liked it - there was no consideration about Christ's nationality. It is as simple as that. I am glad you enjoy the song. It is obviously one of my favorites.
Can anyone tell me what photo this is of Jesus? I have several films that tell the story of Jesus but I don't recognize this person. Do you know where this image is from? I've searched Google Images for Jesus images but don't see this one.
Wow, thanks a lot for your reply, I really like the picture, but I didn't care too much for that film because of the violent torture. Have you seen 'The Gospel of John (2003)' ? I think it is phenomenal.
Sirena Capers No, I'm almost sure it was written by Phil McHugh and Greg Nelson. These two probably wrote a quarter to a third of all of Larnelle's Sandi's and Steve Greens songs throughout the 80's and into the early 90's. If I'm off, someone please let me know!😊

Wonderful!
Me too. Actually, I do listen to him for hours and hours. He ushers in the presence of the Lord and has a majestic voice.
Marvin you are profoundly accurate in your comment. Larnell is “without” peer in capturing and delivering the interpretation/message of a song.
I hope Larnelle sings & lives according to the message of his songs.
I really enjoy this song, God loves us so much He went ALL the way to the Cross that we my have EVER lasting Life

brings me to tears every time
I don't fail to play this song everyday since I first watched and heard it. It always bring tears to my eyes, realizing my weaknesses and sins.
This blessed my heart every day. It's the first thing I listen to in the morning
WOW!
Written by Phil McHugh & Greg Nelson. Certainly on my all time favorites list. A challenge to sing well, but truly ministers!
I sang this song in a competition when I was 14. It took a LONG time to be able to sing it well. It's very difficult.

God was not European. He said if you saw him there was no beauty to be found. But this man is handsome
I love the song

Where can I get the soundtrack for this song on CD? I would like to sing this on Communion Sabbath in November.
I was thinking the same thing...perfect for Communion--the Lord's Supper.
I know your comment is years old, but this track is on Larnelle’s website for digital download.
please if you have a performance track of this song please can you upload it? thank you so much
I searched for this track forever since my cassette gave up the ghost. It is on Larnelle’s website.

hi....this picture is from the Passion of the Christ. God Bless ya!
Didn't Judy Jacobs write this?

Jesus is not what the pictures make him look like
Why is Jesus always look European . The Bible says if you looked upon him there was no beauty to behold and pluses he was a Jew.
"his Lord" is of course the Lord of, not 'a 'lord'
please those of you, make it right to him, or face jud when its your time
you know what I mena :_|
love the music, not so much the white Jesus pictures
Kimberly Thomas
I agree with you on that. God didn't leave a picture of himself and most certainly wasn't white or european he was a Jew
