As a producer myself library albums are 10 times easier to sample. And most of the times they dont have strange names. Albums name is sounds of the middle-east so you know you gonna get some banger arabesque sounds.
The sample taken from the track "Dawn mists" was also familiar, but not from Apollo Brown, and he jumped in to find out where it came from: Alchemist previously sampled it for Evidence's track "Throw it all away". Greeting from Hungary. 🙂
Something brand new I made yesterday for the video. The sample is taken from the library record that I’m holding up on the thumbnail. The sample hasn’t been used before as far as I’m aware but I could be wrong.
Yes. Records were created originally for TV and Radio productions to use. Many of them were used for that but they are also really popular for sampling from.
Go onto Spotify and type in KPM or search KPM or Bruton Music or just Library Music on TH-cam. There are so many albums out there with some great music on.

I rate Preemo so highly.
I never knew the sample for D.O.A. Death of Autotune until this video.
Thanks for watching. Good to hear you discovered a new sample.
That sample @ 4:48 stringtronics-"Dawn Mists" was also used by Evidence "Throw It All Away" one of my favorites by him
👍
Just goes to show that music inspiration can come from anywhere
Definitely. These records were originally intended for TV and Radio shows to use them, but they are really popular for sampling from.
MF Doom Kon Queso has a pretty dope library sample
Yeah great track. I just thought I had quite a lot of DOOM stuff in the video already. That’s the only reason I didn’t include it.

Yes. I decided to show the Apollo Brown track as he is blocked on WhoSampled.com so not as many people would know it.
I prefer more Madlib's version (Falling), but still, original is so stunning, you can't ruin it in any case
This was dope!
Thanks

Geoff Barrow is one of the best to do it.
That beat in the intro is crazy? Where is that sample from? I feel like I've heard it before

Yes. Records were created originally for TV and Radio productions to use. Many of them were used for that but they are also really popular for sampling from.
@@DJFurio Thanks, I didn't get it before your explanation 😅
Yeah. Maybe I should have made a little intro to the video to explain more.

Go onto Spotify and type in KPM or search KPM or Bruton Music or just Library Music on TH-cam. There are so many albums out there with some great music on.
