What a great interview! The interviewer asked some really original questions. Never heard of this actor before but he seems like a kind, fun, thoughtful person. Will have to check out the film.

Came here with the same thought, I haven’t seen him in anything. But he does have George’s dark features and I can definitely see him pulling off George’s accent. I’m hoping it’s true!

I am here for his casting rumors too! I have not seen him in anything but I feel like he will be a good fit for George, his energy and features fit him really well, I am actually really excited for his movie!

Is the gentleman in a wheelchair in the background the one that the movie was inspired from? That I was just wondering?

Made me blub even though I know the story had been changed ie the animal loony bunch. They never ever picketed the house of the original guy. It was the organisation that helped him out that stopped training monkeys to be service animals. The writing was on the wall anyway so they just stopped using them. Simples. No animal front was ever involved in the capuchin monkey being taken away from the original Nate. It was old by the time the monkey was retired.
I have no problem with animals being used to help humans who have infirmities ie dogs for the blind, diabetic dogs (yes real they can smell a hypo coming on in humans and make the owner aware of it) for type one diabetes. They can also smell things we can’t and alert us. Guide dogs go back to World War One when loads of German servicemen who had been blinded by shell fire needed help getting around. The first guide dogs were Alsatians and were an idea from Germany that spread around the world. Other animals have been used such as otters. So long as the animal hasn’t been ripped from its mother I see no problem. The monkey was taken away from one of those private zoos you get in the states not from its mother in the wild. All it had known was human contact and had imprinted on humans.
