Makita 831269-3 Large LXT Tool Bag With Wheel for Cordless 18V a.co/d/3kRO8EH
Ii like the bag . I use it for my fishing trips out of San Diego California.
Bro mine didn’t last a week, the wheels are not strong enough for all the weight of power tools. And I’m in north county
Doesn't last long. Zipped pockets on sides near wheels touch floor when rolling, very unstable when full and end up wearing through. Main zip kept separating behind zipper, both cast zip tabs broke. Telescopic handle came out of body on one side making it unusable. And elastic snapped on top. Overall lasts about a year if your lucky at best less if carrying weight. I would not buy another and don't recommend it.
There is an lxt400 bag that's around £25 in England that's 22" maybe worth a look for you. Thanks for the vid I'm trying to decide if I should get that one for a small cordless mitre saw I have
I keep my empty dewalt bag for similar reasons! If I volunteer to BBQ I load it up with bbq gear. If I visit my mom to fix stuff, I carry other gear. Etc, etc.
The rope on top I'd for your fleece or overhauls
Hi! How are the wheels, were you happy with them?
Falls apart 30 bucks but mine didnt last a month i boight 3 all 3 are falling apart im ice with the oacking not to much?the zippers break the pockets came ripped as well as more ripped
Thanks for your info. Don’t think this is a good bag to haul heavy, possible “sharp ended” tools. (even though it’s made for Makita tools ; ) Lots of of other feedback like this on Amazon & others.
However, makes a great travel bag for clothing, gear & other items. Checked this bag in on flights (to: AZ, NV, WI & Mexico) & has worked out awesome. One of my favorite travel bags.
That bag may be identical to what is shipped with the Weber Q, bbq grill (different branding, of course).
Looks like a good alternative to the ogio bag
So how do you get the handle down? Mine is stuck and there’s no release button
Not sure, hasn’t happen to me. However, I think you can get access to the frame on the inside of the bag.
First 6 minutes is all FLUFF.. skip ahead.. You'll thank me later fellas.. LOL
Funny, I had come to similar conclusions about this product and what it could be best used for. It looks like they took your commentary and changed a lot on this Model # 831278-2. which I'm currently looking at. No wheels, No pull out handle, and apparently smaller.
I'm torn cause I really want to pick this bag up for camping/fishing but ther's so much wrong with it that I'm not sure I could justify the purchase
1-it's a tool bag that probably can't support tools long term
2-THe bag is ugly. I could imagine the looks I'd get with it being a tool bag and me using it for something else (this is coming from someone that owns makita tools and likes em)
3-The bag itself looks flimsy under its own weight,. My 90's backpacks hold better.
4- The plastic strips on the underside of the case seems useless as the bag doesn't exactly have a hard floor, I'd imagine it would sag in spots., Realistically, the bottom bag should be all plastic/rubberized coated.
On the other hand
1-It looks like a decent quality duffel bag for the price?
2-Looks like it could be water resistant?
3- The straps look like good quality metal bindings.?
Are you seriously worried about people thinking it's ugly?
