You Sir are a great teacher. Thanks for making somewhat daunting set ups simple. Notifiarr and/or Recyclarr would be great adds to your tutorial library. Keep up the great work; it's appreciated!
Thanks for the kind words. I have been looking at doing a Trash guide so the Recyclarr might be the way to go. I'll add that and Notifiarr to the list. Thanks for reaching out!
@@AlienTech42 Awesome! I'd be happy to sponsor those projects. Just let me know if/how I can help.
I also started with the Atari 2600. I love this channel so easy to follow your tutorial.
Glad you enjoy it!
Don't know about you, but I remember back then thinking to myself, wouldn't it be amazing if the game could look more realistic! Those day's have come and went way beyond that! Happy Gaming.
Thank you for this video! I'm pretty sure I would have floundered around for days trying to get this work. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. The main reason is that it's kind of boring setting up all the emulator stuff in every location I want to play, having a browser option makes it potentially much more simple.
thank you for your teaching, i learn more and more with your videos
Glad to be of service!
wow, Thank you so much, never though this would be possible from a webinterface
You are welcome! It's a ton of fun and the web interface makes it way to convenient...
This could well be the most emotionless tutorial video i've ever sat through...
I'll see about lowering the emotion level a bit. 😉 I am always up for a challenge.
RomM setup would be a great next video
Thanks for the idea, i'll look into it!
Well Done sir, I've been lookin at this but couldn't really figure it out.
Gonna set up a ProXmoX machine again here soon and give it a shot.
Well Done: New Sub; Dryden, Mich.
Oh, My Favorite was probably my Gen 1(.0 W/ HD Graphics), but my Heart belongs to my 7800, Still have it!
Dryden, nice. Couple of hours away.
The ol' 7800, I remember that one. Good times and fond memories. Thanks for the sub, glad to help. Good luck on the Proxmox machine. I am more of a XCP-NG guy but I have used Proxmox, good stuff.
@@AlienTech42 Oh Yeah? Where you hail from?
Honestly, I haven't Professionally done IT since maybe 2k7, I would either have Win 2k Servers or a few RedHat boxes.
ProxMox has been a Challenge, haven't gotten everything like PCi Passthru working yet, Its a constant whitebox, I'll have to throw a different SSD in it and give XNG a shot, I have been watching vids on it, but haven't tried it yet. lol
Would you do a video on the install and config of Jellyfin? Also with jellyfin , is transcoding a must have when using a media server? Lastly, when running out of disk space on server ( 80 TB) is there a cloud based storage system that can be used for your hd storage, still allowing for multiple users?
If you have not already, I'd suggest getting Tdarr set up to save space.
Scripted Unmanic video today. Will be out in a couple of weeks.
Jellyfin video is ready to go for next Saturday. I scripted a video for Unmanic today. If you are not aware it can convert video files to h265 to save on drive space. As for cloud space there are several but I would only use it for backup storage as the data transfer rate would not be video streaming friendly.
Thank you. I use handbrake to "clean up" my video files. Looking forward to additional videos.

Thanks. I had not heard of EmulatorJS. I am assuming it can also play arcade roms from the 80s, such as Tempest, Asteroids, Missile Command, Pac Man, etc.
Thanks for watching!
It sure can, place the rom files within the Arcade subfolder. The same process as I did for the SNES. Enjoy your gaming!
When I try to copy ROMs to a ROMs folder, it says that access is denied and that I need permission to perform this action. Any idea where I grant myself permission to do this? Thank you!
any usb controllers you recommend for playing through the browser for Unraid?
Here you go:
Controllers I recommend:
🔥Wireless - amzn.to/3JMECKU
🔥Wired - amzn.to/44osIk5
I also added a link in the description.
@@AlienTech42 Thank you
I cannot paste or move/create items in the ROM folder through Windows File Explorer. This goes for ALL ROMs folders. I also cannot put a new file into the emulator list. Also access denied. But I am able to do things in the base Share folder I created. No idea why yet.
Edit: If I navigate to the EmulatorJS WebUI and choose 'File Management' Then navigate to the relevant ROM folder location. I can either right click and upload or drag and drop.
Sounds like a user rights issue. Glad you found a work around. Thanks for sharing it!
@@AlienTech42 It was a user rights issue. Even though when setting up the share I had selected public. And in the Share options it said read/write was allowed. Apparently this can happen randomly with Docker containers. The actual fix is to navigate to Tower/Tools/NewPerms (Or choose New Permissions in the Tools menu). Then I chose Shares and ROMs and hit start. I can now make changes using the Windows File Explorer. Thanks for your videos and guides. They've been very helpful in getting this all setup.
Unfortunately, emulatorjs has no real authentication, and anyone can access (and upload files) if they find the address. Can you go through the process of adding Authelia to it? For bonus, if you find a way to add SSL to it for browsers that require that, it would be amazing!
I have plans to do a video on NGINX proxy Manager. Great idea on Authelia, I'll at that to the list. As for EmulatorJS, I only use it internally and don't expose it to the web but, yeah, I should lock it down. Thanks for the suggestion.
