Since Tesla makes its own rules. With other manufacturers if you add something custom the manufacturer can only void the warranty if they can prove that the part you installed caused the damage to the vehicle this grants them to void warranty. But since tesla all electric, they can claim that that caused the brake rotor to deviate and possibly void warranty. I guess you on your own here
The Answer is “No” Per the Federal Trade Commission website (consumer.ftc.gov), an 'aftermarket' part is a part made by a company other than the vehicle manufacturer or the original equipment manufacturer. Simply using an aftermarket part does not void your warranty. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket part. When accessorizing your vehicle with aftermarket parts, your warranty claim cannot be automatically denied, nor can your warranty be voided, if you install non-OEM parts in your vehicle. The burden is on the dealer to prove the aftermarket parts caused the failure at hand. For example, if your tire pressure sensor fails, your vehicle’s warranty claim can’t be denied because you installed aftermarket tire pressure sensors that are different from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. More importantly, if an air suspension unit or an electric drive motor fails and you have an aftermarket wheel installed, the dealership/manufacturer would have to prove the aftermarket wheel caused the suspension unit failure or the drive motor to fail in order to deny a warranty claim. In these types of scenarios, the dealership/manufacturer should have no reason to deny your claims.
Would be fantastic if the display could also show the turn camera feed. Having those camera feeds in front makes 100% more sense than on center display.
Agree.
So far non of aftermarket display can access camera feed from the car.

I’m a newbie in the Tesla world and would love to install this F9.
My question is does this accessory void Tesla warranty? How does the Tesla service technicians react when you bring in the car for service? Is there any pushback from them? Great video and very informative
Appreciate your comment.
I’m not sure 100% about the warranty but as far as I know which ever OEM parts from the car you replace or remove those parts won’t be covered.
I have been to Tesla service center a few times with both front and rear aftermarket display and non of them ready care about it.
If your reason for visiting the service center might has something to do with electrical which may cause by aftermarket parts then I would suggest to remove it before taking your car in.

I think when you ordered it they were doing preorders for the display.

I wish the blind spot monitor would turn red whenever there's a car in the blind spot, not just when you signal to turn.
The reason why it does that because it gets the info from the car. On your tesla display the car next to you won’t turn red until you turn on the signal.
Turn your head to look in your mirrors like you were taught in driver’s education.
Buy the replacement wide view mirrors and see everything in your blind spot!

THIS VOIDS YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY ACCORDING TO TESLA. DONT DO THIS!!!
Can someone else confirm if this is true’
@@Neukids it’s very true. I actually just talked to service advisor at Tesla and he says it 100% does!!!
I guess you on your own here
@walterwhite1 I talked to someone cousin of a sisters mother and that's false information, trust me I'm a random person on the internet
The Answer is “No”
Per the Federal Trade Commission website (consumer.ftc.gov), an 'aftermarket' part is a part made by a company other than the vehicle manufacturer or the original equipment manufacturer.
