Actually, The ADJUSTER was first. After 1 1/2 years’ work, The ADJUSTER received "pat pend" status from the USPTO in March 2015 and was then publicly released and demonstrated at Utah Autorama. AFC Live from PowerDrivenDiesel didn’t hit the market until much later; their advertising is not factual. Please go to AttitudePP's website for info on the “rest of the story” and why The ADJUSTER is so superior to AFC Live. Also note that The ADJUSTER has been granted a full patent. Does AFC Live have a patent?
Somewhere in the mid 90’s Navistar DT series engines went to electronic fuel injection; however, The Adjuster will work if your DT466 is a Model A175 or A190 with mechanical fuel injection using the Bosch P7100 pump.
They started introducing the dt466e in 1995 but still offered the NGD mechanical version in special applications until 1997. Mine is a 1996 dt466p NGD, the last version mechanical they made. Its factory 210hp with the 12mm P7100 pump.
That’s great ! The ADJUSTER should be an awesome complement to your engine. My only concern is your solenoid fuel shutoff bracket. The ADJUSTER housing is slotted to accept that bracket for Cummins 6BT and 4BT series engines from 1994-1998; not sure how that lines up for your DT466. It may not even be an issue.
The fuel shut off solenoid on my pump is mounted near the front of the pump. It isn't anywhere near the afc housing so it shouldn't be an issue. Glad to hear it will work. Looking forward to getting this build completed in the spring and maybe doing a review on your product. Thanx for the info.
I have had mine for two years now, no problems whatever, I did a lot of researching afc live versus attitude..... I’m soooooo freakin happy i did attitude.... neighbor has afc live and is always. I mean always messing around with it, he can never be happy with it because it’s boost control fuel, and he can’t get it to stay put on a setting he likes because it won’t hold the same setting and any setting, he says.... he went with it because of advertising and name brand..... you will love the attitude... and worry and problem free, make sure you want plenty of vids and read instructions plenty of times to insure perfect install, fyi much much easier than the afc live, from what I can tell
Your comments are appreciated, and you’re so right. The ADJUSTER provides precise, repeatable settings. You’ve seen it in action…select what you want when you want it.
We appreciate your input. We have had MANY enthusiasts trade out for The ADJUSTER. Would you mind shooting us an email with your contact info to info@attitudeperformanceproducts.com ?
My in cab controller only turns to level 5 and has the same power from 1-5 is there a reason for this? Definitely opened up the truck I love it but I would like to know if I may have hooked something up incorrectly before I take everything apart again the smoke screw and star wheel is turned up if that may affect anything at all with it
Should be an easy adjustment. Just recalibrate to “0” according to the install instructions. Reach out to the Distributor form which you purchased The ADJUSTER for more information, or Xtreme Diesel Performance (XDP) has licensed The ADJUSTER and can field tech calls.
There have been many customers drawing that conclusion and installing The ADJUSTER after experiencing the other product. Diesel World (Jan 2020) just did a review on The ADJUSTER. Also, you can check out AttitudePerformanceProducts.com for comparisons.
@@AttitudePerformanceProducts I just purchased the Adjuster to replace my AFC Live. Do I need to put the stock spring back in it or can I keep the max travel spring that came with AFC Live in it?
Congrats on your decision. Many enthusiasts have embraced our product after trying to get results from the competitor. You will find a world of difference in the two products. Our recommendation is to use the stock spring. Welcome aboard!
9-11% power increase is a value-added bonus. The ADJUSTER was primarily designed to precisely control fuel flow, giving you full control over 16 positions-from optimum economy to max power on the fly. We found that it also produced many other benefits…significantly better mileage, Lower EGT’s, extended pump life, smoke control, etc.
Thanks for your inquiry. We ship ADJUSTERS to many countries. Please email us at info@attitudeperformanceproducts.com, provide your address and we will be happy to give you the details.
One of the best mods I have ever done on my 97! crazy hp improvement and really nice mpg on low settings
Thank you! Much time and research went into this to put a smile on your face. In-cab full fuel control on the fly, but so much more!.
Power driven diesel was the first ones to offer it and originally invented it over 4 years ago

I have a 1996 international DT466 with a 12mm p7100 on it. Will your adjuster work on it or is it a cummins only application?

I want one so bas. Can't wait
It’s an amazing product for the P7100 injection pump; and it’s all mechanical. Lower EGT’s and better fuel mileage are super nice extra benefits too!
