I've been struggling in retracing a logo sent to me in very low resolution which is getting pixalated when enlarged. So I need to trace it into a line art and recreate the logo for a higher sharper resolution image.

Why not use the text box for the first tip? It is a much simpler option.

Because you'll need to group the object with the text box. Otherwise, you'll may accidentally move the object, leaving the text box behind. It's actually messy. putting text in the object its much cleaner.
