The most comfortable trickers I have use the Vibram Gumlite sole, it’s like wearing my favourite trainers.
Commando sole's on my 3 Trickers Henry boots, Dainite replacement on both my Burford and Stow boots as replacement for original leather ones.
I used to have a pair of Burfords,a bloke stopped me and said " respect to the shoe man" I showed him they were boots ,he was gobsmacked !!!
I love Tricker’s. In fact I own three pair of boots, leather and suede. Very comfortable. My next purchase will be the shoes with commando soles.

I have got the Kilsby with the Vibram V-lite sole. In the beginning, the fit was perfect, but after 5 months support for my feet has collapsed and the size of the shoes has grown by half a size.
I know now why that is: these lightweight versions don't use midsoles...had I known, I never would have bought them. 645 euros for a pair of shoes and already near unusable 5 months later.
The Tricker's customer service suggested me the repair service at 170 gbp without shipping costs, to get a resoling done with midsole. Laughable really.
It was my first pair of Tricker's and not tempted to buy another any time soon.

Is there a notable difference in terms of wear between the single leather and ultraflex soles (I'm thinking more along the lines of length of wear before replacement is needed)?
The Single Leather sole can withstand slightly more wear than the Ultra-Flex however there isn't a noticeable difference.
hi, what's the best way to keep White Vi Lite soles nice and clean..? - as I have a pair of your ethan monkey boots.. :)
Surgical Spirit. Make sure you don't get any on the welt or upper of the footwear. Apply it to a cloth and then wipe the sides of the sole.

my dad was obsessed with trickers, id love to wear them now hes gone but he had boat feet so sadly they just sit in the box
Please stop using the Vi-Lite - it's not deserving of Tricker's.
