right before 3 minutes when u arrive at doune castle you were on the hill o row road (pronounced hill of rue) and you would have passed a statue of a fella with binocs round his neck and thats a statue of David Stirling who was the founder of the S.A.S and first ever special forces military regiment. And you can see my house from that hill lol.

You seem offended that native Scots felt you would struggle to comprehend the Scots language or dialect. Most non Scots find it quite incomprehensible so you did very well to adapt. But I can't imagine there was malice in others thinking you would struggle.
