    There is a pass on the side of the inlet that goes back to the mangroves, bait is all up in there and along the mangroves on the south side. If u throw towards shore like right on the beach further in the inlet then u were next to the 4 posted channel marker tower you will get one every cast

    I very much anticipate the release of your videos. The fishing is great to watch, learn from. Your production, editing skills are quality. Florida is beautiful and so is the water you fish. Dialogue is clean. Your handling of the fish you catch shows your respect for nature. Even the fish that you harvest. Great stuff dude. Cheers. SoSoCal

  • @matthewfeit9046

    It seems one of your carbon shields is 7’ while the other is 7’ 6”. Specs look almost identical in terms of weight , line, and lure rating. What are your pros and cons of each? Do you use one more from shore and the other more from the kayak?

    • @louisperez2915
      @louisperez2915 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matthew Feit longer rod usually means more casting distance.

    • @FishAholicTV
      @FishAholicTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Louis correct, yeah I usually prefer a 7’6” for inshore because i feel I get a little extra distance. The 7ft rod I was using to throw the rapala I felt was just a little stiffer because of its length and being I had a feeling most bites were going to be near the structure I didn’t need to cast really far but wanted something with slightly more back bond to penetrate the hooks.

    Johnny Boy

    • @FishAholicTV
      @FishAholicTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually on the tail hook I’ll flatten two hooks and on the belly hook I’ll flatten one because smaller fish that I’m not worried about losing will get that back hook 90% of the time and a big fish will try and eat the whole thing.
