Who told you the gen4 european versions has MPI !? Uses to have on gen 3 for emissions until 2018. After they introduced OPFs and lost MPI. Nither US&NAR and EU&ROW has MPI on Gen4 .
Hello, first of all, your explanatory video content is very nice. I have a question for you. Can you give me information on how to make the RLC (rolling launch control option)?
the flex kit itself is actually super easy, the harness plugs directly into the soundaktor - most of this is MPI installation! If you aren't running MPI, you can be installed and flashing flex before this video is over!
Absolutely. Higher HT/HS film strength to protect the motor and turbo with the increased performance output. The only reason VW specs 0W30 is to appease CAFE and try and eek out an additional 1-2 mpg for the climate change believers. Prior to the MK8 the Golf R factory fill was 5W40.
@@bartoski-ag No it wasn't 5W30. Do your research. Through 2018 the MK7/7.5 Golf R was spec'd for 5W40. And we all saw the fiasco that occurred in 2019 when they mistakenly suggested people switch and downgrade from 5W30/5W40 to 0W20 in their GTI and from 5W40 to 5W30 in the R because of the same "revised oil pump". The only thing running water thin oil in your motor is good for is generating additional MPG numbers which VW did solely to appease the climate change believers mandating EU standards as well as to save face after their Dieselgate scandal. 504/507 spec does nothing to prevent carbon buildup. That's unavoidable over time regardless. 502/505 vs 504/507 is simply high SAPS vs mid SAPS respectively.
1+ has a low torque and full torque file. full torque will hit limiter and pull power. I have stage 2 but it’s slower than 1+ right now if you have a dsg. uniflex kit with 1+ is perfect
@@bmw_for_life8902 We put a built engine in - but the shop that built the engine didn't use assembly lube, which rendered it useless after install. It currently has a brand new crate engine direct from VW!
@@BMPTuning this is unfinished business! Im currently on the Uni Flex file with the complete fuel upgrade and Pmax cant wait to see the GTI on the dyno l!
It allows you to build boost while driving, without having to speed up to put a load on the engine - useful when starting a race from a roll when you need to hold a certain MPH to begin!
That livery is so sick!
This is great - thanks for the detail on the ECU wiring. Car is sick!
appreciated!
Great video....definitely not a job for the faint of hearts - but the results are 💥💥
Im goong stage 1 E85 in a month ! Cant wait
You're gonna love it!
Nice one guys! 🤘
The auto upshift is off from factory too in M+ mode
Ryan wasn't ready for limiter lol

I think Ryan was referring to the Mk7 manifold, however we were vague about this - we should have been more clear!
Those numbers are crazy on stock turbo🫨
for real!

It is included with the UniFLEX tune! More info here: www.getunitronic.com/news/uniflex-mk8r-8ys3-release#rlc
@@BMPTuning thank you very much
Very nice! Could you share full E85 60-130 and 1/4 times?
Much more driving content with this setup coming soon! Gotta try out drift mode!

I just got the uni flex kit but this install looks like a PIA.

Ok good to know. Excited to see some numbers
I buy all my parts from these guys!
appreciate the support
I see you guys got the hats I sent! Enjoy!
Thank you !!
Do you think 5w-40 is a good idea for this engine? More curiosity than anything. Just wanted to ask before the internet engineers piped in.

@@bfactorno, it was 5w30, whatever you add make sure it's 504/507 spec or you will get carbon buildup, but not a problem for this guy anymore

So the mk7/7.5 golf r euro manifold is the exact same fit as the mk8 golf r manifold?
As far as we are aware they should be compatible!
Are you guys still running the stock turbo? Also the RAL is sick, is that a feature only Unitronic offers?
Stock turbo! I don't believe any other tuner offers the RLC function on this generation R yet!
R.I.P. DSG....
how so? The GBX file is designed for this!
Does unitronic offer stage 1+ with the GBX file? Only thing keeping me on the fence with tuning
