I'm a mage main and cecilion is one of my favorite mage. I actually like using Enchanted Talisman to cecilion rather than the Clock of Destiny, because the more stacks he has, the more powerful the mana regen from Enchanted Talisman, and it's easier to farm his stack using Enchanted Talisman because you could just spam his 1st skill without having to worry about running out of mana. And yeah... sometimes my teammate insults me for using Enchanted Talisman instead of CoD :(
Yeah people probably didn't know that ET benefit cecillion way better than CoD. The faster he get his stack the more damage he does. It's just that he might become abit squishier. Usually i just solve it with making CE, or just buy Immortal. He is a fine hero as long as there is no Assasin aiming for Him.

As a mage main myself, I just don't like spending time building stacks in mid while an important fight is taking place elsewhere in the beginning.

Cecilion's damage is absolutely nutty right now. Getting to mid game the enemies were dominating us, it was a long match and I managed to get up to 500 stacks. We made an epic comeback and I also got savage with cecilion.
I tried to use him in rank and he's absolutely nutty, the first skill with 400 stacks, and they already have 1/4 hp. The first skill is also just in orange, not even purple state. His late game is just absolutely nuts. Also, happy new year everyone! >3
@@minsi6082 yeah, the passive is, not the first skill, the comment said "it wasn't even in purple state" in between a example of it's dmg, making it seem like it would've done more dmg if it was in purple state, that's what I was confused about.
I’m glad cecilion got this buff, I got his elite skin a while back when I first started and I’m glad he’s good now, should see more of him in ranked. Can’t wait to destroy with him. I played a classic match with him last week and I got 300 stacks in 15 minutes, insane lol.
but its a slight buff we receive right now in the latest patch but at that time when cecilion wasn't nerfed yet his base mana in his 1st skill is 1150 instead of 700 and mana regen is 50 instead of 30 just imagine he didn't get nerf and moonton decided to add a new feature in his passive where he can regen the same amount of mana per hit and with the buff impure rage, I swear cecilion would have been the scariest mage there is
I have been a cecilion main since he first came out and I still play him VERY often. Idc about buffs or nerfs, I have the most matches and wins with him also having his special skin

Enchanted talisman isn't needed. COD gives you way more magic power and hp which helps in both survivability and damage,and also mana at full stacks. Remember that at the end the main source of your damage is magic power, your max mana only gives additional damage. Here is the build I use this season: 1.Clock of destiny 2. Lightning truncheon 3. Dominance ice ( antiheal+anti attck speed+physical defense) 4. Devine glaive 5. Immortality or Athena or winter truncheon depending on the game

I used cod for Cecilion, after I tried using talisman it became so much better. Got like 170 stacks in 6 minutes Pro tip: Whenever you're ganking other lanes try to use your skills on jungle monsters, and if you feel like there's no clash going to happen spam his ult only has 17 sec cooldown.

Just buy both and sell talisman late game for something else, I usually keep both though.
I’m so amazed about how they are able to bring Cecilion back by restoring the mana bonus he used to have before the nerfs came.

Cecillion is usually food for assassins, but with good positioning, ceci is a nightmare to deal with
