Because there was a helcurt. Helcurt is a king in targeting the backlane, Like Natalia, Because of his ult. And Layla, Who can't blink is basically food for him. Layla in general is a terrible hero in mythic rank, Because all mythics (that aren't new) know how to flank backlane. Unless your team has a god tank, Or you're a god Layla, There is no hope.

Betosky have you thought or maybe considered using Clock of Destiny instead of Concentrated energy with that build? Clock provides both higher MP at max stacks as well as a lot more HP than Concentrated Energy. This would buff not only the damage that Feather's passive deals but also the damage Thunder Belts Passive does. It would also provide more Mana which is also a bonus since she consumes a lot of mana
I don't really mind most players who picks Layla, Miya and Hanabi in rank game. But what triggers me more often is that most of them has no growth and haven't learned anything on their main hero. Like they don't know the limits and capabilities of it, sometimes too active at teamfights without proper items or sleeping in jungle for most of the game. And what annoys me the most is that when they start feeding like 2 or 3 times in their lane. They just abandons it and decides to jungle 5 mins into game and worst of all as a jungler player, steals buff from you whenever they get a chance.
