  • Build your own DIY small form factor (SFF) computer case for your Mini ITX PC! The frame is a combination of wood, acrylic glass, and aluminum. It includes two case fans and provides room for a full size 2.5 slot graphics card and an SFX power supply.
The case was built with my DIY CNC machine. The cutting parameters used to machine the aluminum, acrylic, and wood are shown in the video.

This is the most utilitarian and gorgeous case I've ever seen. You fixed airflow issues, kept structural integrity, didn't forget about people who still have data to store and kept it minimalist. I love it. I don't have a CNC machine, but I would buy this in a heartbeat.

I really comment very rarely on TH-cam, but that is a piece of art! I designed and built a lasercut wooden ITX case myself ("REAL CUBE") and have plans for the next one already so I really had flashbacks watching this. The most interesting part for me was the selfmade plywood, I wouldn't have thought it'd be so straight forward to work with that.
Also great job on your DIY CNC, I loved the clean layout and cable management!

I stumbled across this video searching for design ideas to 3D print an SFF case for a future project, when I downsize my first PC build. This is beautiful and you have elevated it to an art form. Kudos to you and like so many others, I encourage you to take your ideas/designs to manufacturers. There is a strong market out there for functional SFF cases that do not break the bank!

Excellent work! The internal layout is well thought out. The only addition I might add would be to apply a mesh front opening to improve air flow as well as a section at the top for 120mm fan. I’ll be looking forward to getting these plans. However, I’d first like to get the upcoming plans on your CNC build. Will keep checking in.

I never comment on videos, but I've built multiple cnc routers, and I have to say well done. As for this pc case build, it is outstanding, your design skills and attention to detail are exacting. I appreciated all the detail and effort you put into this. I would put this project on par with the type of craftsmanship that we see coming from people like Chris from Clickspring. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to your next project.

  • @xanderwusky

Looks very nice, I am a little worried about the dust buildup from the bottom and the temperatures due to the psu though, normally the psu exhaust is outside of the case. But in this configuration its blowing it's hot air into the case. I also think the front fan is probably choked quite a bit by the front panel.
Still, all in all a very nice build. But that where the 3 main things I noticed. Solutions could be adding a mesh to the bottom, giving the front panel slightly more room to take in air. Either by the sides or via a mesh on the panel itself.

Mmay I give a sugestion for future desigins?
Change that front 140 fan for an asetek AIO cooling system and turn the Power supply with the intake facing up. It would be perfect without changing the design too much but with perfect temperatures.
    Really nice design man.

Easily the most beautiful DIY case I've ever seen, very well done!
I think my only critiques would be the lack of filters on the intakes and maybe the size of the fans used. For a personal build they're perfect, don't get me wrong, but if plans were done for more commercial/public use I think fitting a 120mm fan in the rear might work better (and having the front mount include holes for either 120 or 140mm), but that might require making the entire case slightly wider to compensate. This could potentially allow 120mm AIO's to be used on the rear mount. Finally I'm slightly concerned about the SSD mounts possibly being fragile? It's difficult to tell from the video how supportive they are, I wonder if a mounting cage would be more secure and still fit in the same area?
I'd be curious to see if any other viewers with their own CNC machines come up with similar ideas for themselves.

The only reason I can think of for the dislikes is that the project is just not remotely doable unless possesing of extreme skill and taste (and if you do, you don't need to watch such videos, you make them). From that point of view there is nothing to learn from the video, nothing that a mere mortal can use or even aspire to. Roman, I'm happy that someone like you exist and have the means to express your creativity :-) Please keep the content coming, only suggestion I have is to acknowledge that your videos are being watched and studied by much less capable woodworkers, merey hoping to get a little better.
