To get a near perfect circularity you actually have to lower the "max output" setting to anything below but close to 1 But it causes some other issues I think... But give it a shot I guess EDIT : Actually seems fine, I just had lost my other settings so I had wonky deadzone and anti deadzone settings but it's fine now. Good center deadzone and circularity errors or 1.9 on a 2 yo controller with near daily use EDIT 2 : Just don't forget to set your in game inner and outer deadzone to O and 1 or whatever value it is so you don't have two layers of deadzone conflicting and thus giving you wonky imputs
I have Infernos (mainly for sniping better with Vantage in Apex) and the ps4 paddles. I will say they are too big but very good for the price. One of my paddles is always set to the stupid tiny menu button next to the touchpad because I would hit the touchpad on accident which would get me killed and sent back to the lobby all the time.
OMG. I just bought Kontrol Freak controller red add ons for the PS4 and PS5 controller around the hand parts just like you. I think they are good but overall not worth the money because the overall feeling is better without them.
No USB C charging port? VCuda has a video on it. I won the giveaway, and did the mod. Pretty straightforward, and I'm so happy with it. It's become my Switch Controller.
If you don't mind taking apart and have steady hands look into extremerate. I use thier Dawn 2.0 soft touch for back buttons and trigger stops, you can even go further and get clicky trigger/bumpers for a fraction of the cost custom controllers or first part solutions will charge you.
Thanks for this video. DS4 has been my favorite controller so far. I was surprised to see all these test results. Now I'm curious on how an overclocked dualsense would feel to play with on pc. I may have to pick one up.
I was able to OC my 2 controllers to 1000hz and get 1~2ms latency. Also circularity test scores under 10% avg error. Maybe you got a counterfeit controller? Nice video anyways.
thats what im thinking. bought one that was a fake then bought a real one and the real one is around 5% on the sticks and a steady 0.9ms latency at 1000hz. almost think it has better numbers than the dual sense videos ive seen

Thats pretty insane because my DS4 has been used for maybe 4-5 years, and my Dualsense 6 months. Also i have to agree DS4 feels incredibly comfortable in my medium sized hands compared to Dualsense!
Hello everyone, I think I repaired the circularity of a PS4 and PS5 controller on a PC with DS4, in the controller readins Axis config LS and RS section DeadZone type radial AntiDeadZone 0.27 MaxOutput 0.90 OutputCurve EasioutCubic those values on both joysticks and test the circularity error with gamepadtester
Can you do a tutorial on extreme rate clicky hair triggers mod? I tried doing it but some of the buttons were not clicking and were very stiff! I read something that the extreme rate mod needs to be sanded down a bit. One of the videos I saw, said they needed to loosen up the back of the PS4 controller so all the components could fit. Please help
Oh, dear lol Your sticks been outputing in “square” format if you could call it like that and the red zones are out of the initial stick circle outline that why it counts as a “error”, to fix both of the issues, try to tick the “force max output” gonna cut at least 15% if you set the dead-zone and anti dead zone and the fuzz settings properly, on the third tab “controller output” you could see the “real” input which is sent by the controller marked as an “i”nput and the one emulator sends to the system “o”utput, sticks should be configured to return and stay at 128 both axys. (Square sticks seems not enabled on the video, but my guess is has to do something with previously installed drivers and the xbox360 output) P/s: For me, emulating the default controller which is in use, provides the best possible accuracy, dont know why you would want to emulate 360 controller when ds4 is available, old titles still gonna catch the xinput and if they are only 360 layouted, they still gonna get the input/output of the set device
Kevin I think your DS4 is broke. I get 1-2ms latency on my 3 DS4s over Bluetooth with DS4Windows. That's testing with the same input lag test program you use. Wired I get about 10ms.
Could be, but I’ve tested a lot of other DS4s and I’m always around the 10-16 wired and 3-6 bt, this one was reading a bit lower than some of my older ps4 controllers. Honestly it really doesn’t matter to me that’s much because I personally never use the DS4 anymore, as mentioned in the video I think the dualsense is better in every aspect
Can someone help. I changed the right analog stick on my aim controller changed it for a brand new one and when I tested the analog stick it shows the the stick is pigging left and when I rotate it, it only goes down and up. Is there any fix for that

For some reason when mine is on default, it’s at 500hz. Could be because of the updated HIDUSBF program 🤷🏾♂️

That is weird. My DS4 controller has about 6ms of imput delay with oc.
