I got a couple: 1. Punks first year back in WWE will go much better than anyone anticipated. 2. Seth Rollins will take significant amount of time off 3. 2024 will be AEWs defining year for multiple reasons (creatively and business wise) 4. Flair and AEW part ways 5. Vince McMahon kickstarts another big venture/investment 6. Roman becomes an even bigger star by staying with WWE, but also begins to enter more serious Hollywood roles 7. 2024 is WWEs peak during this boom period before it cools off slightly, and AEW begins its boom period
These are good and definitely plausible, I agree with all of them apart from 7… I honestly can’t see WWE cooling off with the amount of talent there, I can see it getting better and better.
My two biggest predictions are: 1. Okada leaves NJPW. This is just me but it feels like he's being treated as a legacy act rather than a man in his prime. This will result in him leaving NJPW. However, I have no idea where he will end up at between AEW or WWE 2. This will be the least crazy year in Wrestling since the pandemic. Ever since 2020, it seems like a lot just keeps happening between firings, new hires, TV deals, etc. I'm not saying 2024 will be tame but compared to the last few years, it'll be tame

Top heel spot in AEW is reserved for the foreseeable future. Hard for someone like Swerve to replace that when they are not as good on the mic as #1 heel and would probably never be.

I don't see Vince getting back into power Ari Emnaul has final say & majority voting power. I think he might try to weasel his way back in but ultimately Endeavour will remove from the company. Ari Emnaul literally kicked him out of creative once the merger finalised & Vince lost voting power and final say. It wouldn't make sense to put him back especially with how hot the company is with Triple H in charge & how good business is right now

The same week the merger happened Ari kicks Vince out of creative & reduces him to be a figurehead for the company with no power. Endeveour even admitted that Vince could have a negative effect on there business. The Devil storyline, that will be continued for another 2-3 months after the reveal will be a huge flop in terms of storytelling and will cause some AEW stars who didn't get TV time because of that to leave. Also, Tony Khan won't win the Booker of the Year award neither this nor next year. 2. Darby Allin will become an AEW World Champion, but his reign will be short and he'll drop the title to Swerve, who, as a part of his championship reign, will retire Sting. 3. Tajiri will be a 2024 Royal Rumble surprise entrant. I've checked the AJPW roster and he is pretty much the only person that WWE crowd would recognise (Kento Miyahara could be a cool addition, but nobody would pop, aside from Tempest). Also Jade Cargill debuts, setting up a feud against Damage Ctrl, eventually dethroning IYO, Brock Lesnar style push. 4. The Judgement Day will go their separate ways after Wrestlemania, where Rhea, Finn and Damien will all lose their titles, but they will stay in friendly terms and they will celebrate as babyfaces when Damien Priest wins the World Heavyweight Championship in Puerto Rico (there will be another Puerto Rico PPV next year and Priest will trade his briefcase for a main event match there). 5. CM Punk wins 2024 Royal Rumble and dethrones Roman Reigns after, what would look like a botched interference from Solo, but in fact will be an "assassination order" from Anoa'i family, who started to deem Roman weak and soft. Solo will then proceed to kayfabe injure Roman and grow as one of SmackDown's top guys, while Roman will take a few months off (maybe to shoot some movie) and appearing in video packages, where he self-reflects and turns tweener, eventually becoming a cool thug babyface. He returns before Wrestlemania, costing Solo his title match and they have a Tribal Combat with Jey supporting Roman, despite their history and Jimmy supporting Solo, both of them eventually walk off from the fight with Roman's blessing and become a tag team again. Jacob Fatu (who debuted somewhere in 2024) and Solo will batter Roman with weapons only for The Rock to run in and take Jacob out, helping Roman win and giving him a nod (no pointing at him or raising his hand, just a nod of approval).
My big prediction is that next year we'll see a full blown trade of one or more talent between AEW and WWE, instead of releases TK and HHH will make a deal to trade talent they have on their rosters that want to go to the other company

My top 5 wild predictions for 2024 1. Aew ppvs will be part of Max's new sports package by the end of next year shifting away from the ppv model. 2. CM Punk will start a feud with Logan Paul that will lead to Logan saying a throw away line that leads to cm punk being released from WWE before the end of 2024 as wwe sees Logan Paul to be more valuable asset. 3. My prediction: Gunther, not Punk... will dethrone Rollins for the World title. He'll then hold a 1 on 1 match between Kaizer and Vinci with the winner becoming the IC champion. Lookin' back on it I would've taken Dolph Ziggler (Nick Nemeth) as the Devil. Frames Adam Cole, massive reveal and future feud setting up two guys who were deemed the next Shawn Michaels. Him along with his faction including his brother, great shock and perfect pairing honestly who could've stripped the ROH tag belts from MJF & Cole. Hell of a way to introduce yourself, already a credible threat being a 2-time world champion (World Heavyweight & NXT), hence lies the ties with Samoa Joe scratching his back winning the AEW championship. Luke that second one was ridiculously in bad faith. Also the Dudley boys signed legends contracts with WWE this year, no more than a couple month ago. Wrestletalk is my favorite wrestling channel and we’re all human and make mistakes and I’m 100% nitpicking, but it is annoying when they always don’t think of these things. Like, following contract status’s and all of that is quite literally what you do on a daily basis lol.

No major WWE star (Drew, Shaemus, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins) will leave WWE. 6. Mercedes Mone will sign with AEW, having no more options for a bigger pay day. 7. Jade Cargill will debut in NXT. 8. Jack Perry will be released from AEW, and will re-sign NOWHERE. 9. CM Punk will be released from WWE for repeatedly breaking his behavior clause somehow. 10. WWE will do everything possible to run AEW out of business (counter programming, booking PPV’s on the same nights, making “catch and kill” offers to everyone on the AEW roster, etc).
"Catch and kill" offers are where you sign someone, but send them to the mid-card at best. If they somehow go over, awesome but, if not, it was never the plan.

CM Punk will "NOT" have a backstage fight. (Similar to Jack Perry, just the report of argument won't count) 3. Drew will surprise debut at All In and will the TNT title immediately. 4. New women's title will be introduced in AEW (Women's revolution guys) 5. WWE will buy NWA after NWA failed to get the TV deal and going out of business as Tyrus regains the NWA world title.

None of the major moves people are excited for will actually happen (note that this doesn't apply to people who are currently free agents)
2024/25 prediction. CM Punk wins the Rumble, meaning Cody has to win in the Chamber to face Roman. Main event night 2 Cody gets the win... via Triple H interference and an Austin WM X7 style heel turn. Raw after Mania sees WWE debut of dark haired Cody, a heel champion who competes throughout the year, and a future return of a successful face Roman. Maybe Rumble surprise win, but I think a surprise return, either as an entrant or taking out an entrant in the Chamber match and a clean sweep would be cool to see.
The downside to AEW landing a deal with Paramount is that Paramount is apparently currently in merger negotiations... With WBD
I got a couple:
1. Punks first year back in WWE will go much better than anyone anticipated.
2. Seth Rollins will take significant amount of time off
3. 2024 will be AEWs defining year for multiple reasons (creatively and business wise)
4. Flair and AEW part ways
5. Vince McMahon kickstarts another big venture/investment
6. Roman becomes an even bigger star by staying with WWE, but also begins to enter more serious Hollywood roles
7. 2024 is WWEs peak during this boom period before it cools off slightly, and AEW begins its boom period

My two biggest predictions are:
1. Okada leaves NJPW.
This is just me but it feels like he's being treated as a legacy act rather than a man in his prime. This will result in him leaving NJPW. However, I have no idea where he will end up at between AEW or WWE
2. This will be the least crazy year in Wrestling since the pandemic.

1. The Devil storyline, that will be continued for another 2-3 months after the reveal will be a huge flop in terms of storytelling and will cause some AEW stars who didn't get TV time because of that to leave. Also, Tony Khan won't win the Booker of the Year award neither this nor next year.
2. Darby Allin will become an AEW World Champion, but his reign will be short and he'll drop the title to Swerve, who, as a part of his championship reign, will retire Sting.
3. Tajiri will be a 2024 Royal Rumble surprise entrant. I've checked the AJPW roster and he is pretty much the only person that WWE crowd would recognise (Kento Miyahara could be a cool addition, but nobody would pop, aside from Tempest). Also Jade Cargill debuts, setting up a feud against Damage Ctrl, eventually dethroning IYO, Brock Lesnar style push.
4. The Judgement Day will go their separate ways after Wrestlemania, where Rhea, Finn and Damien will all lose their titles, but they will stay in friendly terms and they will celebrate as babyfaces when Damien Priest wins the World Heavyweight Championship in Puerto Rico (there will be another Puerto Rico PPV next year and Priest will trade his briefcase for a main event match there).
5. CM Punk wins 2024 Royal Rumble and dethrones Roman Reigns after, what would look like a botched interference from Solo, but in fact will be an "assassination order" from Anoa'i family, who started to deem Roman weak and soft. Solo will then proceed to kayfabe injure Roman and grow as one of SmackDown's top guys, while Roman will take a few months off (maybe to shoot some movie) and appearing in video packages, where he self-reflects and turns tweener, eventually becoming a cool thug babyface. He returns before Wrestlemania, costing Solo his title match and they have a Tribal Combat with Jey supporting Roman, despite their history and Jimmy supporting Solo, both of them eventually walk off from the fight with Roman's blessing and become a tag team again. Jacob Fatu (who debuted somewhere in 2024) and Solo will batter Roman with weapons only for The Rock to run in and take Jacob out, helping Roman win and giving him a nod (no pointing at him or raising his hand, just a nod of approval).
By the end of the year, AEW PPVs will start showing on a major streaming service, likely Max.
My big prediction is that next year we'll see a full blown trade of one or more talent between AEW and WWE, instead of releases TK and HHH will make a deal to trade talent they have on their rosters that want to go to the other company

- Ospreay will main event All In against the AEW World Champion (personally, I hope it's Swerve, but anything can happen to the title holder in 2024; however, Will main eventing All In is a must)
- Okada resigns with New Japan
- Jade Cargill debuts at the Royal Rumble and dominates with the most eliminations in the Rumble at 10, one more than Charlotte Flair's, but doesn't win. However, she will immediately be part of the world title picture and will win the Women's Championship at SummerSlam
- Whatever program Judgement Day is in for WrestleMania, Damian will end the night frustrated and he'll cash in his Money in the Bank on the Raw after Mania
- Forbidden Door 3 takes place in Japan (won't be the Tokyo Dome; this is probably too farfetched, but I'd like to see most of AEW's roster take the plunge across the Pacific, even for a one-night only crossover)
- C2 increases to 30 participants (5 leagues with 6 each) and will have rule changes
- Jamie Hayter, PAC and Kip Sabian wins the AEW Women's World Championship, TNT Championship and AEW International title respectively at All In
- Drew Galloway debuts in AEW at All In and is the first to throw his lot into the C2
- Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews leave AEW and resigns with WWE; Brody King starts pursuing a singles title run

My top 5 wild predictions for 2024
1. Aew ppvs will be part of Max's new sports package by the end of next year shifting away from the ppv model.
2. CM Punk will start a feud with Logan Paul that will lead to Logan saying a throw away line that leads to cm punk being released from WWE before the end of 2024 as wwe sees Logan Paul to be more valuable asset.
3. Sasha banks rejoins WWE to team up with Bayley and they will main event wrestlemania In a tag match against Kairi sane and Auska for the woman tag team champions.
4. Vince McMahon will return on TV and have an interaction on Raw with CM Punk.

8) There will be the first LGBTQ story done properly in WWE, so with a number of WWE Wrestlers being not straight and Triple H in charge I think they can actually do an LGBTQ story right.
9) Kaitlyn returns, so with talk of AJ Lee returning, how about Kaitlyn? She and AJ as Tag Team Champions?
10) Malaki Black, Buddy Matthews, Brodie King, Julia Hart & Skye Blue all go to WWE, so Julia has been the only HOB member featured on AEW lately. I can see the entire HOB plus Skye joining WWE and feuding with Judgement Day.

Wrestletalk is my favorite wrestling channel and we’re all human and make mistakes and I’m 100% nitpicking, but it is annoying when they always don’t think of these things. 1) Wwe biggest signing will be okada and AEW biggest signing will be drew mcintyre
My prediction is that Jarrett, Styles, Curry Man, Mercedes Mone and Okada will sign with TNA
My 2024 Predictions:
1. Roman Reigns will NOT lose the title to Cody Rhodes.
2. CM Punk will NOT beat Seth Rolins at Wrestlemania.
3. Will Ospreay and Kyle Flether will leave the Don Callis Family as soon as Ospreay joins AEW full time.
4. Andrade will leave AEW and WWE will NOT pick him up.
5. No major WWE star (Drew, Shaemus, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins) will leave WWE.
6. Mercedes Mone will sign with AEW, having no more options for a bigger pay day.
7. Jade Cargill will debut in NXT.
8. Jack Perry will be released from AEW, and will re-sign NOWHERE.
9. CM Punk will be released from WWE for repeatedly breaking his behavior clause somehow.
10. WWE will do everything possible to run AEW out of business (counter programming, booking PPV’s on the same nights, making “catch and kill” offers to everyone on the AEW roster, etc).
"Catch and kill" offers are where you sign someone, but send them to the mid-card at best. If they somehow go over, awesome but, if not, it was never the plan.

Sami could win MITB as a babyfacs. But at this point him turning heel would fail because fans are still gonna cheer him

My one prediction - AJ Styles will main event a TNA event before the end of the year
My prediction for me myself. Hope I remember to check it at the end of 2024:
1. Roman will hold his title for all of 2024 and will only defend it for 7 times.
2. CM Punk will "NOT" have a backstage fight. (Similar to Jack Perry, just the report of argument won't count)
3. Drew will surprise debut at All In and will the TNT title immediately.
4. New women's title will be introduced in AEW (Women's revolution guys)
5. WWE will buy NWA after NWA failed to get the TV deal and going out of business as Tyrus regains the NWA world title.
1. AEW Double or Nothing 2024 becomes a 6 hour-long show. In response to fan backlash and a tired crowd for the main event, AEW announces that Double or Nothing 2025 will be a 2-night event
2. We will hear practically nothing about Jade Cargill aside from a single comment from CM Punk. That will be the only time in 2024 Jade Cargill is brought up in the WrestleTalk news
3. AEW and Johnny TV mutually agree to part ways. Johnny TV will then return to WWE as John Morrison where he becomes NXT champion
4. Orange Cassidy beats Will Osprey for the AEW World Championship
5. All major names in the 3 major promotions (WWE, AEW, NJPW) resign with their current employer. None of the major moves people are excited for will actually happen (note that this doesn't apply to people who are currently free agents)

I think the Royal Rumble match
Danhausen will team up with either Brody King or Ethan Page and win the RoH tag team championships.
2024/25 prediction. CM Punk wins the Rumble, meaning Cody has to win in the Chamber to face Roman. Main event night 2 Cody gets the win... via Triple H interference and an Austin WM X7 style heel turn. Raw after Mania sees WWE debut of dark haired Cody, a heel champion who competes throughout the year, and a future return of a successful face Roman. Maybe Rumble surprise win, but I think a surprise return, either as an entrant or taking out an entrant in the Chamber match and a clean sweep would be cool to see.
