About WrestleTalk Podcast
WrestleTalk Podcast is the home of all your wrestling podcast chat, with reviews of WWE, AEW, and more!
“Who else is gonna beat her for the title, it may as well be Charlotte” aged quite well
Sheamus wins the IC title from Gunther in a 5* match at a PLE in 2023, which closes the show. The show closes with Sheamus really emotional, maybe even saying “thank you” on the mic. The next Friday on Smackdown, Sheamus announces his retirement, and hands the title to the re-re-named Pete Dunne.
Here's a prediction: If they compete this year, Adam and Andy will once again win the Jamble and main event WrestleJamia, Thrice in a Lifetime!!!
AEW and WWE make a deal for world champ MJF to appear on an episode of RAW to have a promo with world champ Cody Rhodes as part of the “Bidding War” storyline.
I fail to see how this benefits WWE though. They'd just be giving publicity to MJF (and therefore AEW) for no gain.
@@deepvoicedude4749 a ratings boost and further proof of WWEs willingness to work with other companies.
@@GoSoup12 idk if it would be a ratings boost for wwe MJF is popular but he’s not big enough to draw lots of eyes to wwe . I mean the guy has less instagram followers than guys like Angelo dawkins and angel garza he’s not as popular as you think! Wwe lowkey doesn’t benefit from this
There will be no rating boost. Those people who watch AEW are watching WWE as well.
@@GoSoup12 it's just not enough imo
Kenny Omega winning the G1 and then wrestling Okada for the belt at winter is coming is such a Denise prediction
Always look forward to this annual video. It's such a fun discussion
I would replace Kenny Omega in the G1 with Bryan Danielson and Danielson vs Okada at Winter is Coming
Agreed this videos are my faves of the year😀😀
Luke and Oli together on screen doesn't happen enough on a non review style show, looking forward to this even tho not been listening much recently 😁
Thats why I don't watch any longer. Luke and oli are the only ones that aren't cringe.
@@coryfowler8810 my two favourites along with Sully. Tempest is decent, Pete is alright but seems so miserable sometimes and Sat is too much for me sadly
@@karlwoodgate4028 sat is great. He just needs to read and write his own scripts as it's painfully obvious he's not comfortable with other people's stuff
@@britishhedgehog yeah possibly, don’t think they need scripts anyway. would be better having a legit review
Yea. Oli, Luke, and Laurie. The others are annoying for the most part.
I don't even care about subscriptions at this point. I just want to sleep in 2023 -- SRS
If 2022 was anything to go by, wrestling in 2023 should be a wild, crazy, thrill ride with plenty of highs and lows. Can’t wait personally because if there’s one thing that makes wrestling suck, it’s when it’s boring and predictable. AEW fighting back from a rough period. HHH making WWE more and more his vision. New Japan seeming poised for a resurgence. Stardom continuing to grow and show why women’s wrestling is so great. Indies hopefully continuing to flourish. Bring it on!
This relates to something else I just commented: I think the notion of the champion leading a company is 100% a great trope, but I think the idea of the champion driving ratings is a relic that bookers still cling to from a bygone era. The fact that Hangman Page and Punk drew the same ratings is clear enough: it's about the shows in totality, not who's headlining them.
Always love these Wrestetalk Year predictions videos so excited
I want to see Luke's Winter is Coming.
Can’t believe this is my first time commenting but I’ve seen no one else mention it. Jericho signed a new deal in early October through 2025. It was in Variety and everything.
I believe Shane said that that was not true. But I could be wrong
@@phhsdj nah there was a whole official press release from AEW and everything
Instead of Rampage being cancelled, I could see Dark and Dark: Elevation might merge into one next style development space. And yes, I know this is exactly what happened with NXT and NXT UK but I still think it's a good idea!!
My predictions of pro wrestling in 2023:
*(KOTA IBUSHI & KENNY OMEGA) GOLDEN LOVERS REUNITE in AEW
*MJF will be AEW WORLD CHAMPION throught year & will be no. 1 in PWI ranking
*GUNTHER VS BROCK LESNAR (WRESTLEMANIA or SUMMERSLAM)
*SARAYA became AEW WOMENS CHAMPION either at D.O.N or ALL OUT
*JOHN MOXLEY turned heel
*BRON BREAKER wins either IC or US championship
*NICK ALDIS ALL ELITE
*ROMAN REIGNS UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP eneded
*STING & EDGE retires
What should Sting and Edge last match be?
2023 AEW BINGO SHEET:
- MJF to be champ all year.
- Punk to return. BONUS: align with MJF.
- Swerve to win a title and be a top heel.
- Sasha Banks to debut and beat Jade at Revolution.
- HOB to be trios champs.
- Undisputed Elite to reform.
- Miro, Andrade or FTR to go back to WWE.
- Mox to turn heel.
- MJF vs Okada at FD 2.
Positive Prediction: Wrestling will have its 3rd biggest boom period (Golden Era and Attitude Era type boom period) and channels like Wrestletalk and Going in Raw will cross huge subscriber milestones. (Hopefully!)
will never happen .... only way is if you had guys like Cena, Rock, and Brock appearing regularly or semi regularly.. could you imagine peak 1998-1999 RAW, and stone cold is only on raw like once a month? he was on raw every single week, beating people up. out with injuries/ surgery is an exception
Way to go! This one actually came true.
Another prediction: AEW All Out will become a 2 night event, with the saturday reviving the 'All In' branding. This will become the one big annual AEWxRoH crossover show, and effectively become AEW/RoH's equivalent to Wrestlemania or Wrestle Kingdom. While the weekend will only be branded as an 'AEWxRoH" event, there will be representation from some (but not all) of AEW's key partners (AAA, NJPW/Stardom, Impact, and DDT/NOAH/TJPW)
Third and final prediction: The AEWxAAA partnership will completely fall apart. While nothing will happen between AEW and CMLL in 2023, there will be rumours towards the end of the year that two two promotions are in discussions with each other.
33:32 if we include non AEW championships which changed hands on AEW shows, not including ROH shows, in 2022:
5x AEW world title changes
6x TNT title changes
4x AEW Tag title changes
1x Trios title changes (2 if you include inaugural champs)
3x Women’s title changes
1x All Atlantic title change (2 if you include inaugural champ)
1x IWGP Tag title
1x ROH world title
1x ROH women’s title
1x ROH Pure title
Totalling 24 (26 if you include inaugural trios and all Atlantic) title changes on AEW TV and PPV in 2022, so 35 is not entirely out of the question.
When Luke talks about Rampage doing about what was originally expected, but often lower, where is he getting those figures? Is he just using the network's original hopes for Dynamite? Which is on prime time on Wednesday? When the guys analyse ratings it rarely comes across like they know what they're talking about.
Chris Jericho has already Re-signed Luke
Luke’s reaction to 13:30 is priceless 😂
Although a very silly prediction, I appreciate you guys mentioning it on the podcast. Literally made my morning a lot better today. Much love! ✊
Edit - 36:02
Brian Pillman Jr as an NXT main eventer would be good for sure!
That third hour of Raw is never going away. A bad third hour rating is still almost double the average primetime ratings that USA normally gets. USA loves that third hour. USA is down 13% year over year in the ratings. Except when it comes to Raw. They are slightly up. Same with AEW. TBS is down 15%. AEW has been up 3% in the overall rating and down 2% in the demo. Basically steady. Both companies are going to get a pile of money thrown at them when negotiations begin.
Edit: What killed WCW was that Turner owned WCW. So, when it was canceled there was nobody to try and take it to other networks. AEW is not owned by Turner. They can negotiate with other networks.
"Remember what killed WCW was a changing of power in the TV Networks".
True, but one key difference needs to be reminded of: said TV Network, Time Warner, *owned* WCW. They bought WCW from Ted Turner. He was still the major shareholder until the fusion between AOL and Time Warner, *that's* what killed WCW. AOL Time Warner decided they didn't want to do anything with it anymore and they sold it, and Vince McMahon bought it. Warner Bros. Discover *does not own AEW* . Tony Khan does, and the Khan family is pretty damn rich.
Coming back to this in early September is so fascinating
-Sting, Edge, Minoru Suzuki, & Chris Jericho will all retire this year.
-MJF’s reign will end after Reigns’s ended.
-Oli continues to be a WWE shill, and doesn’t give a Dynamite 5/5 all year
-AAA fail to get their WWE deal, and AEW stop working for them for CMLL.
-Eddie Kingston will beat MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Grand Slam
-CM Punk does not return to AEW, his contract is bought out.
-WWE has their programming change to TV-14 like previously planned.
and lastly: Miro actually returns to TV and has a match with MJF on a TV special episode. (Something that admittedly seems impossible nowadays)
My predictions for 2023.
- Sarray wins the AEW Women's Championship at some point in the year.
- Vince McMahon is brought back as an on-screen character.
- WWE will have some involvement at the Forbidden Door show between New Japan and AEW.
- Roman Reigns loses the WWE Championship, but continues his run as Universal Championship until Wrestlemania 40 next year.
- CM Punk returns to WWE with FTR to feud with The Bloodline.
- Tommaso Ciampa returns from his injury and slowly reforms DIY with Johnny Gargano.
- Ronda Rousey leaves WWE after Wrestlemania 39 and retires from wrestling for good.
- WWE starts their global expansion project with NXT, starting south of the border with NXT Mexico and pushes Dragon Lee as the top guy.
- The Bloodline keeps Sami Zayn in the fold, but decides to boot out Jey Uso instead. This picks back up the feud between Jey and Roman that started back in 2020.
- Ric Flair has another match, because that old man doesn't know the meaning of retirement.
I will back your last prediction.
Also I think regal will only get Brian Pillman and Lee Moriarty since Yuta and Garica seemed to be ingrained into BCC, JAS, and ROH.
2023 prediction- Dustin Rhodes will have his last match in aew and it will be an AEW championship match at a TV special where he will tap out to MJF, note this will not be his retirement match as he will save that for cody
Jericho resigned until 2025. Come on guys, you're a wrestling news channel. You should know this!
Wrestletalk is the wwe of wrestling news, their not wrestling news their sports entertainment news. So it’s where history/ real news gets forgotten/changed for their own content Narrative.
Most them can’t remember what happens all year, even though they make the actual video 🤦🏻♂️😂
36:52 Replace WWE with AEW and that's pretty much what happened.
My big out-of-this world prediction is that FTR will drop the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships to the OC while still under contract to WWE and show up on WWE television with the belts at some point.
Predictions for 2023... (I have no clue on the business side of wrestling so I'm avoiding that)
1. Someone, who is a champion on either WWE (main roster) or AEW, will announce a shock retirement.
2. There will be three matches in WWE that get given five stars by Dave Meltzer.
3. Same as Luke, MJF will have the AEW World Championship for the whole year, and Wardlow will be tasked to save AEW, as the final opponent.
4. A New Japan wrestler will make a shock appearance at a WWE PLE.
5. Each member of The Judgement Day will have a title at the same time.
6. Five wrestlers who are fairly well known on AEW will move to WWE.
7. Kenny Omega will appear on the Broken Skull Sessions, after WWE eatablish a good working relationship with New Japan.
8. Ric Flair will have another match.
9. (Highly doubtful of this one but I'd love it) AEW and WWE will work out a deal to have MJF, as World Champion, to appear at the Royal Rumble. He elimates Sami Zayn, and gets thrown out by Cody Rhodes, to win.
I feel like Luke must’ve been high when doing these predictions
My crazy prediction: NBC Universal makes a huge offer to get Smackdown back on the USA network and air it on Wednesdays to go head to head with AEW. Then, Fox outbids Warner (due to their merger with Discovery) and puts AEW on Fridays in Smackdown's place but pays less than what they were paying for Smackdown and Rampage moves to FX1 (hopefully in a better timeslot).
That would be completely ridiculous. But, I can 100% see it happening. I'm mad that I didn't think of this. Nice job.
haven't been watching the podcast channel too long, i would love if they linked the previous year's entrys whenever they did yearly videos
Oli's wwe cinematic universe idea is essentially what IDW did with the wwe comics. They wrote kayfabe stories of like the in betweens of feuds. Like I remember one was explaining the formation of Paige with Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. That formed because originally Paige wanted each of the members of what became the Riott squadd she hyped them up said how great they were... and all three of them beat up Paige and agreed they should be a group. So movie wise it could be fun for some Dexter Lumis immediately comes to mind that could be fun, Sarray and her sailor moon esque transformation could be another fun one.
36:52, this guy may know something we don't.
some of my predictions for the heck of it:
- Matt Cardona returns to wwe and wins a world title
- Julia Hart wins the TBS title in AEW
- Impact and NWA will either work together/ fuze again
- Sheamus will retire 1 day after winning the ic title (losing it the day after winning)
- The Dark Order will disband in AEW
Like the Wrestletalk Predictions. 2022 sure was a Crazy and Wild year for Wrestling.
If Luke's final prediction happens in the way he laid it out, it wouldn't work in WWE's favor. As he said, with it being on USA network, the episodes would be available immediately rather than after 30 days (assuming that's true and how it would work). So anyone who cares about watching both shows is simply going to watch Dynamite live, then catch Smackdown on Peacock later. Having SD be readily available on Peacock and ALSO attempting to go head-to-head just doesn't make any logical sense.
1-mjf vacated title due to injury/unforseen circumstances
2- John moxley wins tag title with (blk pool combat club)
3- Bray Wyatt vs the fiend( someone dressed as the fiend)
4- edge will win the US championship
5- FTR AND PUNK WIN TRIOS TITLES
Edit: making these predictions before I watch the video.
They would never cut Raw to 2hrs. that’s an extra 60minutes to run advertising
WB has Superman. Discovery has Guy Fieri.
Predictions in order of craziness:
1. MIRO returns in January, and lays waste to the undercard. He gets a short TNT title run in the summer.
2.. Takeshita wins the All-Atlantic Title and defends it at the Cyber fight Festival later that year
3. WWE will try to launch NXT Japan again. They get a foothold and buy one of the smaller Joshi promotions. They will rebrand and begin in 2024.
4. Both AEW and WWE runs "women's night" TV specials.
5. MLW win or get a settlement with the WWE, and Jacob Fatu takes part in the Bloodline.
6. Tony Khan grows weary with the Wrestling world, and looks to sell (both ROH and AEW)
AEW Prediction: The fans are going to get fully behind Ricky Starks as the one to overthrow MJF, and become their hottest baby face just like Brian was during the "Yes" Movement.
WWE Prediction: Bron will be called up to the Main Roster, and will be given a Roman Reigns 2015 push.
my wwe prediction ::: roman reigns never loses another match his entire career. he retires from wwe in 2028 still holding both titles and vacates them
Here goes:-
1. Agreeing with Luke, I think MJF remains AEW world champion for the entirety of 2023, does the CM Punk MITB 2011 thing with TK, but instead of Wardlow he'll face either Mox or Kenny at Winter Is Coming
2. Fox does not renew Smackdown, but instead of going to USA, it goes to NBC and remains on Friday
3. Mercedes/Sasha Banks actually signs for AEW and is the catalyst for their women's revolution
4. Dragon Lee almost single handedly makes NXT must see again (because I have that much faith in him)
5. Vince goes to trial following all of the allegations, and eventually settles out of court, but the settlements are so large that the only way for him to get that kind of money is for him to sell most if not all of his WWE stake
6. Billy Corgan somehow convinces Hulk Hogan to join NWA, and that product essentially becomes Immortal era TNA, only with a lower budget and way less star power
Huh, so 1 was wrong, 2 was sermingly only half right, 3 is wrong but could've happened if Mercedes didn't get injured, 4 was wrong although I do follow NXT a lot more this year but not necessarily because of Dragon Lee. 5 was sort of right as Vince did sell a lot of his stake in the company but not because of any settlement and 6 is flat out wrong.
No clear Ws for me in 2023, hoping 2024 is better
Edit to Oli's idea: CM Punk returns to vignette of alllllllll the negative things that have been said about him instead of the "devils greatest trick" quote WITH a new character entirely.
Didn't Jericho resign recently
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’d love if Rhea and Dom won the titles 😂😂😂. Even the women’s tag belts
Jericho just signed this year for a long term contract.
9:25 well that aged well less than 24 hours later.
26:25 as a Brit that moved to Sweden.. you lost me as soon as you said Sweden! I swear I’m the only one in the whole country that likes wrestling! When I 1st moved to Sweden I found a Swedish cometary on EuroSport of week old wrestling. I thought “good way to learn the language” every move was an axe handle or a elbow drop! Even a leg drop was a elbow drop!!!
Me too
Does nobody remember Jericho extended his deal in October for 3 years?
@Jaime A. they don’t. I think either nobody remembers that report or it was debunked.
The biggest positive to having wrestling on your network is that it fills 50 to 150 hours where any non sports show is typically 22 hours tops.
IVE BEEN WAITING ALL YEAR FOR THIS VID! 😁😁😁
1. A Wrestler not signed to WWE will make an appearance in the Royal Rumble, either as a one off appearance (e.g. Chris Jericho or Matt Hardy) or a full on debut/return (e.g. Andrade or Nick Aldis)
2. Matt Cardona returns to WWE. Originally returns as Zack Ryder but immediately turns heel and cuts a worked shoot promo against WWE and the fans and officially rebrands himself as Matt Cardona. By the end of the year he will win the US or IC Title.
3. Roman Reigns will attack the Rock on stage at the Oscars to promote their match at Wrestlemania.
4. Dominik Mysterio will force Rey to unmask.
5. Becky Lynch will appear in the MCU.
I have 2, with one being a back up if the first fails. Firstly, CM Punk and FTR vs The Elite is the biggest feud of the summer.
Failing that, my second prediction is CM Punk signs with New Japan
Don’t know if I agree with all the returns outside of Bray being bad. Some have underwhelmed some did good with what they’ve been given.
Who’s underwhelmed
1 Hit Rowe
2 Dexter Lumis
3 Braun Strowman
4 Sarah Logan
Who’s done well & who’s done well with what they’ve been given
1 Bray Wyatt
2 Johnny Gargano
3 Karrion Kross & Scarlet
4 OC & Mia Yim
5 Candice LeRae
To early to say
1 Bronson Reed
2 Emma
3 Tegan Nox
I thought that if Fox wants to keep wrestling on their network, they can very easily make a deal with AEW. Good wrestling with big names for less money than what WWE costs.
Just my opinion, but there are a couple of issues.
#1 Tony wants to be loyal to WBD, he didn't try and find another home for ROH.
#2 Smackdown has brand value, so if Fox believes in Wrestling as a draw it's better to retain Smackdown. Impact will even be cheaper than AEW but the perception will be an issue.
@Gus's Gas Station I can understand the issue with TK wanting to be loyal to WB. If SD is pulling in half of what FOX expected from the deal (4M people in 2019), it wouldn't be out of the possibility for AEW to be offered a deal on SD, knowing they're the Number 2 brand in Wrestling and can draw 1.5 million fans on TNT (when they push it).
@@davidyoung6649 The numbers don't add up. I did some research and Smackdown's ratings have been hovering around 1.8 to 2.3 per year since 2009.
I might be wrong but I couldn't find if AEW has ever hit a 1.5 rating, I think they did once but I couldn't find it.
2ndly WWE is a more prestigious brand with Smackdown averaging more than double while airing in a dead time slot. Fox can make money with that, in better ways than advertisers.
25:10 if Punk comes back it’s got to be Omega!!!
Was this recorded before it was announced jericho signed an extension
If AEW changes networks…I can see the All-Atlantic and TNT titles being renamed to International and Television titles
The Elite vs CM FTR for the trio titles will main event of All Out 2023. There will be a spot in the match where Punk bites Kenny Omega.
I think Punk returns and continues to exist in a separate bubble from The Elite. Both parties were already doing that anyways before the falling out.
@N F sometimes I feel the same way, others I do believe Punk is done with AEW. Do not see him returning to WWE under Trips, but Levesque does have a bright and ambitious mind and knows that re-signing Punk would be a decisive blow to AEW, so who knows…
LMAO YOU CALLED IT
My predictions, Roman will retire, Omega v Okada V will happen and CM Punk v MJF.
My 5 Bold predictions for 2023:
1)AEW will book "3 stages of Hell" - type match. Witch ends after 2 stages (2-0).
2)Jamie Hayter vs Jade Cargill will Main event a AEW PPV.
3)Sami Zayn still will be in Bloodline after 1st Title Match against Roman Reigns for Undisputed WWE Universal championship
4)Man's Royal Rumble Winner Challenges NXT Men's World champion for Title on WM XXXIX
5) 2 of 8 this people at least will Compete in 30-Men (Or Female) Royal Rumble match:
Linda McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Eric Bischoff,
Bad Bunny, Logan Paul, Johnny Knoxville, Snooki.
Jericho signed an extension I thought
Why would Yuta & Garcia leave? They’re featured on AEW tv…
I predict:
- All of the Elite will be gone from AEW
- Nick Khan get fired to take fall for no new Fox deal
- Bruce Prichard gets fired as response to low ratings
- CM Punk returns
- The Rock buys a stake in WWE
Let's wait till the end of the year
Predictions :
WWE
1. Roman Reigns is losing 1
of his belts in Wrestlemania
2. Riddle will be release
3. Roddy Strong finally gets called up to the main roster
4. Rush & Andrade will get out of their contracts from AEW & joins Dragon Lee in WWE to reunite their faction
AEW -
1. MJF will have a faction that will help him (but he's not in it)
2. Serena Deep will be woman's champion
3. Blackpool combat club disbanded (Mox turns heel)
4. Edge will be All Elite & reunite with Christian
Hot takes :
TNA & NWA will be a 1 company again like the old days.. NWA/TNA
At forbidden door 2. It will be AEW vs NJPW vs WWE
My predictions:
1. HHH brings back the Big Gold Belt as the "World Heavyweight Championship" and the Universal Championship gets absorbed into the WWE Championship.
2. We get a new unique AEW x ROH PPV a la Forbidden Door
3. Mercedes becomes a double champ, holding the AEW Women's World and TBS Championships
4. Josh Alexander signs for WWE
5. NWA and Impact merge to become NWA Impact
If I were you I’d save the ROH x AEW ppv idea in like 2-3 years when people don’t automatically go “wait that’s an AEW talent wrestling another AEW talent”
Nice
I'm going to use that radicalz group in my universe mode series I plan to start. I hope y'all are cool with it. I'll credit y'all lol
It was a work! He had a broken foot and needed more time off what better way to have a backstage fight and write him off tv for awhile! Kenny was injured he needed off tv also!
they just put wwe on Binge which is the Fox streaming service here in australia. I don’t think Smackdown is leaving
Since y’all didnt really do any NXT Related Predictions😊 here’s are mine
MVP does Hurt Business 2.0 and calls up either just Carmelo Hayes or both Melo and Trick Williams
Bron Breakker does gets booked like 2002 Brock/WCW Goldberg and goes on a huge win streak gaining the Intercontinental Championship near end of year
LA Knight wins Money In The Bank
Cora Jade NXT Women’s Champion
Grayson Waller is NXT Champion in a Heel Way (Low Blow or pulling tights)
NXT introduces some sort of Money In The Bank or King Of The Ring Equivalent
1. MJF has a big fallout with TK, gets stripped of the belt leading to an interim champion needing to be crowned and the year is filled with speculation on what will happen with him next
2. Bray Wyatt gets frustrated with WWE and walks out
3. Sasha Banks appears in WWE, NJPW and AEW all in one year
4. CM Punk does a shoot interview about AEW (like the art of wrestling) that becomes a PR nightmare for AEW
My 2, 2023 Predictions are:
1. CM Punk will return to wrestling (most likely for AEW) BUT no matter where he returns he will be under something like a legends deal/contract due to how injury prone he seems to be.
2. Jamie Hayter & Saraya will face each other for the AEW Womens World Championship in AEWS UK show's main event
one thing that is interesting is the term injury prone. is it injury prone or bad luck. how did both injuries happen? and if it wouldn't matter who it was they would have suffered the same injuries that would be bad luck. if not then he is injury prone.
@@justinjohnson8551 I think a lot of it is down to punks 7 year hiatus, plus age, plus stepping out of rhythm from the flow he found himself doing before breaking his foot
@@OllieRodriguez i don't know about that statlander had two knee injuries back to back. darius martin two leg injuries back to back. sh*t happens sometimes.
My 2023 prediction. AEW & WWE will agree to their first contract trades, agreeing to Miro for Ali so each can leave their contracts and debut immediately with the other promotion.
Charlotte just beat Ronda for the SmackDown Women’s Title on todays SmackDown lol
omg 😂
hello i wish everyone in the comments a happy new year. 2 hour raw??? hmmm
Can William regal be an off screen character....like a text or speaker phone.
A major NJPW or AAA title will be defended on WWE pay-pre-view (Summerslam or Survivor Series)
WWE Undisputed Champion: Roman Reigns
Intercontinental Champion Either Solo Sikoa or GUNTHER
US Champion: AJ Styles
TAG CHAMPS: KO AND ZAYN
Undisputed Womens Champ: Asuka
NXT CHAMP: Carmelo Hayes
NXT WOMENS CHAMP: Jacy Jayne
NXT TAG CHAMPS: The Creed Brothers
AEW CHAMP: MJF
AEW WOMENS CHAMP: Ruby Soho
AEW TAG CHAMPS: The Acclaimed
TNT CHAMPION: Bryan Danielson
Wrestling Returns: Rikishi
The Rock For Bloodline Storyline
Released: Drew Gulak, Tozawa, Reginald
My predictions - William Regal to run NXT Europe. HHH and Vince to have a match. C M Punk to return to WWE with Paul heyman.
The benefit of only having Dynamite is that they can put all their focus in it. If WWE didn't have to deal with both Smackdown and Raw they'd probably have a more solid show every week, AEW can take advantage of that.
Predictions:
1. Edge retires
2. Vince returns
3. Miro will leave Aew
4. Gunther will become Walter again and will become longest reigning intercon champ for the last few years.
5. Logan Paul will have some controversy that gets him suspended/fired from WWE
6. Bron Brekker will move to the main roster after Summerslam.
7. AEW will mass release or allow people to leave but in a high number
8. Bray Wyatt will not start a stable.
9. Sami Zayn will win the rumble and Ronda will win the women's royal rumble.
10. Big E will return
Wild Prediction 1: Dustin Rhodes will win the NWA Championship next year and also retire
The Elite win the Trios titles, run amuck through all challengers. Kenny Omega grabs the mic after running through ALL trios and says we beat them all there is no one left! FTR comes out and says you didn't beat us yet! Omega and the Bucks laugh and mock them, que Punks music. The crowd goes nuts!
First prediction: in the fall aew throws hook at mjf trying to get the title off him and mjf is the one to beat hook for the first time. Second prediction: aew pairs rampage live events with Ring of Honors tapings and tours them together as a separate live event. Third prediction: rampage is moved to Thursday nights. Fourth prediction Roderick strong gets released joins aew with Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole. Fifth farfetched prediction: Tony pulls another Adam Cole /Brian Danielson shock debut. Sarya's partner ends up being AJ " Lee" Mendez and Mercedes comes out after the match. Or vice versa
