Wow. Perfect video for me to watch at this time. I let go off a relationship almost 4 months ago. It's been a long time coming. It took me forever to be able to walk away. I am starting to feel better and appreciate that it had to be done with no guilt. I still love this person but I needed to practice some self-preservation. Thank you.

I have to break away from most family members and it's painful and lonely, but now i can take care of my physical and mental health. I see a therapist monthly, go to the gym, drink plenty of water and block the news and politics (things my family abused me with)

I am in the process of letting go of my dear friend and yes it is painful. I guess we tend to hold on for way too long knowing the sadness will follow when you let go. I need to be gentle with both of us and do the work necessary for my own healing. Time also is a good healer. Thank you.

Letting go of a close friend is never easy, and the pain can feel overwhelming. It's natural to hold on too long, but healing requires time and self-compassion. Sometimes, it's important to recognize when it's time to move on for personal growth. I've learned that self-care and reflection help during this process. Being kind to ourselves and accepting that healing takes time allows us to create space for new, positive energy in our lives. Letting go isn’t about losing someone-it’s about making room for what’s to come.

Beautifully said. I let go of a toxic transactional non reciprocal relationship 21 months ago. It’s not been an easy journey and for a while I was very emotionally unstable, extremely sad and disappointed but out of all of that is emerging something amazing. I’ve found me! Learning to love and embrace me. ❤. How awesome is this journey of self discovery and self love. I am truly inspired by the courage I have shown in walking away and would encourage others to do the same and save themselves, as the video rightly says no one else is going to do this for you - only you can.

I have been in the process of walking away/ letting go/ forgiving my toxic father. I have just been able, through meditation, to see things from his side. Not diminishing my side at all, just seeing his pain that he refuses to let go of, and it has helped me let go of my pain in pity. That he had to take it out on someone. I still have more healing to do, and I cannot have a healthy relationship with my father, but I'm in the direction of forgiveness. I never thought I could be here.

In everything I've heard in this video it rings true. If you are young you cannot see the wisdom that is being told here because you may have a lot of friends. But in time you will see them disappear if they mostly no longer can use you or things from you. Things that you might get back after a long time or never again. Maybe even damaged. If you've lived many years you realize how true it is what is being said here. The last friendship I had was one that lasted for over forty years. That began in childhood. And when I realized it wasn't real friendship but because of what things could be used from me and the lack of respect for me or my belongings then I knew something was lacking. And when I disagreed in conversations because of my own thoughts and that would upset my "friend " it was time to end the friendship. I felt it was a one way street instead of mutual respect
