      I think Dr Oz is borderline fraudulent.. He had some woman on his show on diabetic foods and he and she fawned over some potion on top of fried bananas and fruits, Anyone who is not even a doctor knows the glycemic index and glycemic load for these foods is NOT for diabetics.

    I was a well conditioned athlete almost my entire life. Navy diver for six years. Never did drugs never drank alcohol until 30 (same year I got married to a French beauty and her love for wine.) Still ski and dive , because well, gravity is still on my side. Gave up surfing and running long distances in my fifties. Started putting on the pounds and got lazy. Then came Dr Berg as I late night surfed YT. Talk about a wake up call ! Bought a juicer, started daily walks and really putting effort into a planned diet. Five months later, ta dah, shed thirty pounds, feeling great, sleeping great. I'll probably never meet you Dr Berg, but you probably added twenty years to my life . God bless you and the message you bring.

    During the lockdown, I put together a small veggie garden, growing kales (3 types, not bitter at all when leaves are harvested young in a shake) & radishes, both can be harvested in about a month. I also have cabbage, beet, parsely & garlic growing currently, which will be harvested later upon maturity. Growing your own organic keto veggies/herbs is fun and rewarding. Anyone can do it anywhere in pots, grow bags, or ground.

    @drBerg
    Out of respect for the channel I will share my take on the list.
    1. For the liver we want methyl donors. So spinach over kale. Betaine and omega 3 fatty acids are key liver nutrients from spinach.
    2. For IBS ginger is king and best paired with plants from the mint family.
    3. If we're going cruciferous, then broccoli sprouts will be the highest in sulforaphane and other nutrients.
    Please note that iodine is an extremely useful mineral and cruciferous veggies block its absorption.
    4. For mucus and phlegm one would resort to NAC or plant extracts such as tara, eucalyptus or olive leaf. Radish sounds like an interesting idea for a nightshade substitute.
    5. Nitric oxide can be boosted by many foods. If it is for the antioxidants in beets then pomegranates does a better job at both eliminating ROS and boosting nitric oxide. If it were for the betaine, then spinach would be a more nutricious nitric oxide booster. Beet juice is generally considered as a superior foodstuff to whole beets.
    6,7,8&9 are excellent choices for a "super" food list. Garlic practically prevents all cancers and is a telomerase activator for normal cells. Well chosen my friend. Keep up the good work with the channel! You're saving lives.

    All of these vegetables are incredible anti-cancer foods. There was a study done on the most effective foods for each type of cancer (prevention and during treatment) and these were all right at the top of the chart. Leeks and broccoli were also right at the top for every type of cancer. Interesting to think that what is truly good for our bodies never includes meat products nor dairy products! In other words, no animal products.
    Never underestimate the power of plants and plant-based protein to heal your body and keep you healthy! 🌱💪

    Many fine edible weeds around most yards, purslane (sometimes considered a superfood).... I quickly attained a taste for dandelion leaves, they pop up all over, drought tolerant, sun or shade. Excellent mildly bitter green option, like endive say, for salads to sandwiches. You can consume the entire plant root to flower but leaves are most abundant, easy and appealing to me.

Almost everyone who is near when I open the Kimchee is put off by the smell, but it is delicious. Chef Google will guide you, Halil.
