It is the best looking ADV bike KTM ever made, hands down! And has a great sound. But it isn't known for being reliable.... Hope you don't have to many issues with it! Ride safe!
Yeah i was worried about that too also it being a 2003 but it has most of the recall issues and design flaws fixed/adressed! The fb groups im in say they are quite reliable but there opinion are a bit bias obviously cause they own the bikes but i do feel like if you do your regular maintenance they should be alright just like any other bike!
i know people who have a lot of money and still have this bikes he can buy all bikes he wants but he has 3 of them a 950s, a 990 adv r and a 950 super enduro and a 890 rallye R 2024 but he saids that this old adventure have something special ! it's a paris dakar winner don't forget it built with the help of champions like meoni!
oh i know! A big reason why i bought the 950 adventure is because of Meoni's story and i want to keep his memory alive by riding the bike he basically build the way it's meant to be ridden even though i have nowhere near his skills as a rider i want the bike to be used offroad as much as i can i wish i could ride better but im so bad in setting up bike suspension its my first year of trying real offroad riding up till this year i just did a little bit on my yz125 and 300 *a few rides i can count on two hands haha*

Hahah trust me it's quite tall for me too but i just love the LC8 sound i had to get one some people tell me they are *bad bikes* unreliable but what ive seen n heard is they are awesome just gotta keep up with regular maintainance! What do you do ride then Hanne!? *Ps i know my humor isnt for everyone in these videos im quite the weirdo i guess😅*

@@ZauxieMoto ja man ben aan het twijfelen om zo’n ding te halen vandaar youtube afstruinen haha. rijd nu vooral op mn versys 650 de zithouding en het blokje is ideaal maar het mist zeker wat power en meer als een simpel zandpaadje rijden is ie zeker niet voor gemaakt. de 990 lijkt me wel een goede upgrade. zeker meer power en beter offroad bestand. denk je dat je met die hoogpoter met lange veerwegen en dual purpose banden nog een kneedown kan doen op straat?
@@robgielen5711 om een kneedown te doen met een 950/990 zonder 100% straat banden zou ik niet aanraden of proberen haha maar denk dat t met normale banden wel lukt t gewicht is best laag op deze bikes ookal is het een hoge motor maar ik zou t niet weten! Welke omgeving kom je vandaan? schiet me anders een DM op insta als je beetje uit de zelfde richting komt laat maar weten kan je de zithouding enzo ff uitproberen.
