Isn’t it saying in your software that if the temp is *greater than* or equal to 60C then the limit is 3800, and if it’s less than 60 then it’s 6000? I think you may have it backward?

Pleased to see a new dirt garage video today! Real curious how the lc transmission went! Keep up the good work!

    A) I’m from BC.
    B) I have a 93 pickup flatbed AND a FJ62. ( I love them both so much)
    C) mine has defiantly been not as reliable as my pickup but it’s extremely cool and I agree with everything I said. However I did have to get my auto trans and transfer case rebuilt, defiantly the weakest point of the 60 series. It was pretty hard for me to pay as it being my first vehicle.

The auto trans on those landcruiser is almost a copy of allison's trans it take 2 benches to hold all the parts. I have done a few on my almost 30 years working for Toyota . Be careful on the radiator trans coolers lines may sure they at not clog or pinch also proper throttle cable adjust is acceptable good luck

My '89 FJ62 has been with a transmission shop in Huntsville, AL for just over 2 years now. I've been told it was ready on 3 separate occasions, only to have to bring it back to the shop. I'm at my wits end and miss my truck terribly. I live just outside of Nashville, TN and need someone that can actually fix it. Any suggestions??? I'm willing to trailer to wherever, to get it done right. Thanks in advance.

My stand alone uses a ford idle air control solenoid which runs on a simple duty cycle. It’s closed loop which means it will adjust until the specified idle speed is found. You can set the idle speed itself in the tuning software and also create different speeds for different coolant temps. Mine is a custom built mega squirt 3x. The stock computer used a stepper motor style iac which is hard to work with. The ford one is cheep to buy and mounts up with an adapter plate to the throttle body although mine is completely custom as ai have a blower setup on top of my 1uz. You might try changing the timing curve at different coolant temps but ideally you need a iac of some sort. Contact me if you want. I have been known to tune stuff but not an expert on spitronics stuff

I’m no tuner but sounds like your iac valve is not configured to your ecu idle should go down once warm yours is the opposite idle hi when cold and low when warm or the iac valve is faulty getting stuck open try cleaning your throttle body good luck with it

When you started computing with your hoodie on I knew things were getting serious. Lol and then.....

It probably just needed a passive flush with an allison transmission synthetic fluid. Rodney flush + party trick + massive Cooler just fixes these transmissions.
