Well done. 👍 Each lock and chain ads to the time needed to defeat the security. Thieves are lazy and opportunistic. So most will look for something easier to steal. Binge watching a few of your videos. Great channel. Thanks for sharing 👍
Some great ideas and definitely detergents to make the quick grab thief’s run away. I would suggest you keep in mind that battery powered grinders with cutting discs cut anything in seconds. Even your wheel chains can be cut in seconds but definitely way better than nothing.
WOW!! I really love your security system you have in place...I'm going to follow your lead on the same system you have for my cargo trailer camper...Thanks a lot!!
Tying up the chains doesn't help much if they have chains in the truck yet are going to take it with. The 2 things that slow them down enough they might lose interest would be to secure Wheels with boot devices or remove the wheels all together put It on blocks. Especially if it's not being used for a while. I've recovered stolen trailers for towing companies I've seen everything. If your trailer is small enough they will pull it onto a flat bed trailer. Thieves are getting bolder
Great to see all the layers of security, especially the wheel chain and Abus Granit lock.👍 I wouldnt use any Master locks or steel cable but they are still better than nothing and a great deterrant. You provided good advise to the general public.🍻🤠🇦🇺
Thank you for the feedback. These layers of security have proven to be very effective for me so far, but I still use common sense when choosing where to camp or park my vehicle and the camper. I am always aware of my surroundings and I never let my guard down. People can still follow you for miles if you're not paying attention. However, I don't make people traveling with me paranoid. I can still engage in conversations and enjoy the trips. The systems do all the work, I just manage the system smoothly. Thank you for following my channel. I need to post more content.
First time I've seen the jack handle padlocked...good idea.. Years ago I poured a slab for my 5th wheel. And as usual I have a tendency to overbuild things. Anyways I poured a slab 5.5'' thick and in the rear of the slab I set into the wet concrete some anchor chain pockets like body shops have for straightening frames. Makes a good place to padlock to unnoticed. Using chain lengths rated for towing is also recommended in a grade 80 or 100
Another sticker to consider" Video Surveillance and Insured by Smith & Wesson". Most thieves (many drug addicts) are less interested in stealing your trailer than stealing what they think is inside: tools, computers and high value items. The weakest "link" in your security system is the easily crowbar defeated RV side door latch/lock.
Thank you for this video. Can you tell me which Abus lock you have? I also bought a coupler lock that slips over the trailer's hitch and chains with a puck lock. I have a very popular little camper and worry, maybe too much, it will be stolen especially when I have to leave my dog in the trailer.
This is not a theft proof method. The goal is to delay the stealing process and to deter the opportunist thief and to keep honest people honest. A determined thief can steal anything I own except for my 3000 square feet house.

Absolutely if a thief wants something they're gonna get it but we definitely got to do our part

Good idea. I may consider that especially when I park my camper in my driveway and travel for an extended period of time.
I like the way you're thinking!
Thank you
Excellent video; this information is vital and extremely helpful. Thank you.

Good point about making it just as difficult to break in as well.
thats why i read the comments before spending 18 mins watching it means little difference to me weather my trailer is stolen or broken into
Thanks for the information!
Wow such a good idea Thanks a whole bunch
Thank you
Great info. Thanks
Thank you
Thank you so much

It's 37RK/80
Thanks for watching
THANK you 💐
I have a tracker well hidden on mine. If they cut all my locks i'll be knocking on their door with the police
Always keep a vehicle parked in front of it.
👍👍
they cut the hinges with a cordless grinder

That trailer could be stolen in a minute. Locks keep innocent people from stealing
