one thing i found to be hurting my total time is, because i track all the immersion i do, starting/ending my timer if i wanna pick up my manga and read a few pages really demotivates me from doing that in the first place
I never really like to track time myself. I usually just grab a manga and sometimes an easy novel and read at least 1 chapter. Then I can see my progress by looking at the stack of books that I have already read. The website I use for grammar vocab and kanji does track my time, but I never really cared about that. As long as numbers go up by at least 1 then I'm happy.
@cpu_cartel5648 I use MaruMori. While it does grammar, vocab and kanji, its strongest point is definitely the grammar explanations. It's also getting some practice JLPT exams in the upcoming weeks.
so, just to be sure, is it okay to have a set goal that you want to achieve (e.g. in my case 200 hours), but not be completely dead set on it? Although I would like to hit 200 hours, I want to enjoy my immersion journey as I go through it.
It’s good to have the goal, just don’t trade your focus for hitting the hours. So like I said in the video you could set a goal for 4hrs a day but only log 3
your channel and videos are sooo underrated!! good luck on your exam next month!
