Love this car! Styling, color choice, and engine note top notch! If I could afford more than one Porsche, this model would be in the stable!

What a fun review of an extra-special Porsche 911! Nicely done, and I couldn't agree more with your assessments of the Turbo S!

That must've been a real treat to drive! What event was that where Porsche supplied cars for you to drive from their own collection?

It was a Porsche Heritage Drive Experience event for media. The closest event for customers is the Porsche Travel Experience. experience.porsche.com/

The torque number is quite impressive for a nineties air cooled motor of only 3.6L!
Amazing that Porsche would let a bunch of hoonigans ie “journalists” take this on public roads haha.

Is it correct that these turbo engines are even more reliable than the nonturbo engines? Or is this not correct?

993 Turbo S has full leather interior as default. Not an option or trim package for Turbo S.

As usual you channel makes me nauseous. I had a chance to buy one of these very limited cars in 2008 from someone that was drowning from the real estate market for $85k. Didn’t do it. Didn’t do the research like I should have. Fortunately I purchased a 1973 VW Thing for $7k that has appreciated 4-5x. Just doesn’t have the scale of these cars. Air cooled for life

well, I watched your video. not totally agreed with you. (Car show 9.75 agree, road trip 8.25 - 9.75, fun factor 10!, daily driver 0! lol). if you happened to be in Los Angeles area i will invite you to drive my car. 1998 (last 6 month of production) 993 Carrera cabriole, speed yellow, 59,000 miles all stock excluding the custom sound if you want a different sound from the engine alone.
I am the third owner from 2006, got her with 22,000 miles. (not a daily drive for me ...) love the car. It's funny you are driving behind the Porsche like mine, and sure enough even you have more then 100 hp! above my 993, it's the same fun. I mainly drive canyons in la area. (With the top down of coerce.
