I'm still looking at moving to Vermont. But would still like to build a new home.
Even though you told me that it's almost next to impossible and would take a long time, and that you can build a brick home.

Not impossible, just time-consuming and expensive... Doable! New brick homes aren't common here but I'm sure you can bring someone in from out of state if you have the budget. Plenty of old brick houses in Vermont though, even if they don't come for sale often

Short version. It's beautiful. It's often cold and dark. Inconvenient with respect to shopping even for basic needs not to mention doctors health care etc. Limited restaurants. But it obviously has its appeal. Quiet. Peaceful. Might be hard to find a good paying job. Tough for young people starting out
