Thanks Max for your review. I've owned my CCX (18" frame) for 1.5 years. It weighs 65lbs which is not bad when considering the 11 pound battery it carries. In my opinion, it is a far better ebike than the Rads and Aventons and Ride One Up ebikes. To my knowledge it is the only ebike which includes both the torque sensor and cadence sensor, giving you the option of how you want to ride. A BIG selling point that gets overlooked by all the critics. For the record, I weight 160 pounds and have managed to get 112 miles on a single charge using only ECON mode riding an average speed of about 10 to 15 mph using pedal assist (minimal use of throttle). That's phenomenal 😊. I have also managed to reach 30mph in race mode in the highest gear in flat wind, level ground. I do not understand why the critics are not raving more on the Juiced lineup of models offered. For a company that's been around since 2009, it deserves much more recognition than it's getting.
Great review. I had the same bike; then I sold it and replaced it with a Super73. In hindsight, I should have kept the Cross Current since it's more incognito when you ride around the neighborhood and don't get mad stares like your riding a motorbike, as with the Super 73.
I have the S with the 52v and you hit every point accurately. One thing that was surprising, was when climbing a fairly steep hill that lasted a good 5 miles, my motor just quit. I had to restart multiple times, so I’m guessing it overheated. Weird.
@@bernievassallo3336 Hi there - yes, mine is a 2021 CrossCurrent S2. What I understand is that the motor can overheat during super heavy strain. This mountain was really steep, and it was pretty warm out.
It is a 750w motor, but the controller can send more than 750w when the motor needs it. This is not intended for sustained use though, ideally burst over 750 then decreases to under 750w once it gets up to speed. Were you using pedal assist on max? What gear were you in if you recall?
@@ShutterContinent I was on the lowest gear, still standing on the pedals at times. It was a gnarly hill (Refugio Road) and was around 90 degrees. Not great conditions. Now I'm trying to figure out why the bike pulls slightly to the left. Maybe a misaligned rear wheel...
Great video, could you tell me approximately how many miles you could go on this on throttle only? I would pedal mostly, but it would be great to know, thanks
I am in the decision of buying an arrow e bike with 2 batteries or the CCX, will the CCX really last up to 80+ mile? (On a single battery) As i would be using this bike for courier work commuting. I would work anywhere from 8-9 + hrs (per job i choose to take will always be 3 miles or less) 10-15 percent of the jobs would most likely be 2.5 miles or more, Imk what you guys think with your exp with CCX
Great review. Thanks for taking the time to make this! I appreciate it

I didn't even think of the top cross bar and bike racks, good point.
Max I just finished watching for the first time. Please more content soon

How many miles per full battery charge

Hello I just wanted to ask if it is the S2 that you own? That’s the one I’m looking at. Hope you are enjoying the ride!! Bernie

How hard is this to ride in pas 0.
What is that chain thing that keeps it from falling off that you got?
That piece came with my bike. It’s like a super cheap chain guide, but it seems to do the trick for the most part.
Lol you're hillarious :D thanks for the review!
