Mine sounds like the pump. I replaced it and it's still hard and tight and not turning. Now the guy told me I need a new Rack and pinion..but none of that is happening wth😢

This video was really helpful. Let me give a break down. My P/S pressure hose developed a leak..(this whole time my vehicle drove perfectly fine.. slight noise from the P/S but I had to be topping up often because of the leak.) I had my P/S hose repaired, after reinstalling and filling resovour with fluid, initial start there was nice from P/S pump but I move steering back n forth to get the air out the system. I don't have a P/S bleeder valve. Very very very slight noise from P/S. I took the opportunity to replace my inner and outer tie rod ends and sway bar links.
When driving the vehicle now, the steering is very stiff and only frees up when I give it gas!!! ... lol..... Ive pulled my lines to ensure fluid is flowing and nothing has changed. Barely any noise from my pump. There is absolutely no leaking from my rack n pinion n there was no leaking from my p/s pump as well !!!! What would you say is my problem now........???

Mine gives the skid warning on hilly right turns and it's constantly thumping and rattling now. It's only a 2019

I just changed my power steering pump and power steering high pressure line and some how my fuild is still leaking now the only thing I'm thinking it is now is the rack and pinion what do you think?

I'm having the same problem. I replaced the pump and high pressure line, but it's still leaking. A
mechanic I went to said it's definitely the rack and pinion :(
