Great video. You two seem like so much fun! I’m glad you convinced Ashley to get in front of the camera. She was very informative and knowledgeable.

Brassavola was one of my first orchids and I love them. Have several small ones, some are even "bag babies" that I am looking forward to seeing blooms. Ashley is adorable. Thanks, Natasha for taking us here and sharing info on how to grow and care for these.

I would like to have heard the end of what Ashley started to say about using soap on orchids? Anyone know what it might have been? I think i have mite damage. Very useful for a grower to point out damage. Thank you

As my tastes changes... after years of growing the Big Floofy Cattleyas... am finding Brassavola hybrids drawing me in :)

Palmers sure has beautiful BLC. Orchids. I have Xanadu . She has 4 blooms open, and she’s a good bloomer. Easy to grow. I should add more to my collection. Thanks for sharing your visit. 🥰❤️🌴

Thanks for the info. It was very helpful. I love BC Nodosa but not lucky with it. I shall buy another one and mount it.

Oh I hear ya. It took me a while specifically with Nodosa. Until I completely ignored her😁 then she started performing😁good luck! Thank you

Thank you for the video Natasha. I bought my first one 2 weeks ago called "Key Lime Stars". It seems like the blooms are getting bigger as time passes. I love it so much. Plan to purchase more colors.

Hi, love the info. I have some smaller brassavolas, but my favorite is the MorningGlory. It’s a large one I’ve have had for quite a while. Absolutely love it. Blooms a lot. Thanks Natalia

    Hi Blanca.
Just to brag that Brasavola Nodosa is native to my island Curaçao. It is found on the highest part of the island and is protected.
Apart from the Nofosa itself, I have the Xanadu, the Little Stars, Rustic Spots and a few other hybrids in my collection

Please make a rescue video. Im struggling as the one I bought was squashed into moss and had a lot of root rot.

What a coincidence, I need to re-mount a nodosa ASAP. It's pushing itself off the cork with its roots but they're not sticking to the cork. It looks nice otherwise, with three new growths since I got it this spring. And the we - I bet you're involved in lots of orchid sales, the growers should give you plenty of free plants as thank-yous!

The WE...here in Florida most of the orchid people are very good friends. So visiting feels like just being at your friends house. Sales are great, but the support and friendship is very special and priceless.Small family business support is crutial. Thats what we are doing. Plus we are good friends. Always good times!

Soapy water on the leaves will help with mealybugs. If you find the white layers of them on the leaves simply washes and wipe the affected areas. I spray peroxide as well. Thank you!!

@@JustOneMoreOrchidWhat about the roots? Will the soapy water damage the roots?
