Couple questions - Is thin crinkly tint normal? Giving me lots of trouble when tucking. Also when I cut the window tint out on window I sometimes end up having my tint come out couple inches too short. Great video btw
dirt sits on the side seals and tape helps keep that all that out of your work. easy thing to help especially in the beginning. it's a newer thing for me tho

Grey triangle EZ reach can help with the tight sides as well
yea for sure, I use to use them for tucking till I got the Shank
What’s the tape around the seals for ? Also the plastic you use to cover the panels what’s it called ?
Helps keep dirt out form the sides. I’m using carpet shield for the doors

it always creases on the sides, anyways to avoid it other than bottom load.

Once you got both sides cut, you have to line the film up at the bottom a little bit past the seal and then tack it and cut the top edge.

Some rear quarter windows can be hard but you can just trim the back seal then slide it in

No, I have removed the seal the first one I tinted but haven't since.

@@SniperKing316 on a k5. Yes. Lol. I'm learning to tint, but do k5s alot. Panels pop off super easy making the job way easier.

If the gaskets have felt it’s so the fiber doesn’t go on the tint when installing, basically cleaner installation

Hi, what was the red tape you had on the window for?
keep dirt out to prevent contamination, personally i wipe all the seals down with a microfiber towel and my slip solution
