I personally like Home better than This Is Home, because in Home, a lot more of the lyrics are allowed to hover and then sink in. He also leans more into the instrumentals, which is great
Robbie's music was so so important to me when I was first discovering that I was trans. His music made me feel safe and made me realize that I wasn't alone in feeling the way that I did. I felt seen. I listen to his music a lot still, especially on days when I feel like shit. It's my safespace honestly.

this is such an amazing reaction video! especially when you compare it to the other ones where the people reacting only paid attention to the beat/feel of the song, which dont get me wrong is important as well but theres so much more to songs than that(especially cavetowns). a big reason i really like this video is because you actually took the time to look at what each song meant and to analyze the songs and was actually appreciative. i know cavetown isnt for everyone but ive seen other reviews just straight up shitting on his music just because they dont like how it sounds and only paying attentions to what they dont like about it instead of just looking at everything. this video honestly means so much to me because robbie’s talent not just musically goes so unnoticed and the end part made me tear up. thank you so much i am so looking forward to part 2

The thing I love about people reacting to Cavetown is how they do feel genuine emotion when listening to his songs. I've been listening to Cavetown for so long, yet his music still makes the same impact on me as they did the first time I discovered him, he helps me when I'm at my lowest, when I feel so damn gender dysphoric. I went to the hair salon and told the person doing my hair to cut it short but not too short, because my mom is unfortunately transphobic :( but he did great and styled my hair and made it short enough to where I wouldn’t feel and look like a girl to myself but would look like one to my mom, mind you I didn’t tell him I was trans, I told my friend about it and they said “he knew what you were.”
