Nerbamas he is trans, he’s posted pics on his Instagram of him pre-t / as a child, obvi we should respect if he doesn’t want to speak about it publicly but that doesn’t make him cis. saying that someone is trans isn’t an insult so it should be ok for us to just state that he is at least, without further digging into things. people should be allowed to look up to him as a trans role model. (this isn’t an attack! I’m just speaking my mind and this isn’t meant to offend anyone❤️)

If he is, he even went as far as to have his mom say in a video "I was so excited to have a baby boy" instead of a baby girl. He is definitely a trans icon, me being trans myself, but it doesn't feel right trying to force someone out of the closet

1. This video is amazing as every video you upload ( I honestly thought cavetown wasn't going to be much your style but I'm glad you enjoyed :))
2. I'm glad you added boys will be bugs to your playlist it's a really great song (My favorite) I feel (My opinion here) it's how they talk about how boys are put into a social construct and I really like how he tied in the phrase "boys will be boys" with "boys will be bugs" (Don't know why I needed to make this commet)
3. If no one told you this I really liked the Britney Spears video, I thought it was very informative on a topic I didn't really understand much about. I suggest you do some unsolved murder cases because those are always really interesting

Cavetown is one of my favorite artists. And I don't know if it's just me, but I've always thought the line "little do we know the starts welcome him with open arms" was sad (and relatable tbh). I interpreted it as "no one knows he thinks of suicide". I've often looked to the stars while at my lowest, thinking of how inviting they are and how I wish I could die and become a part of them again. Most of the lyrics in the song point to the feeling of not fitting in and feeling like everyone would be better off if you were gone.
If you react to him again, I suggest "Meteor Shower", "Green", and "Devil Town". "Cereal" and "10 Feet Tall" are also good ones.
