When my Mother was teaching us to read she would encourage us to bring the words in the book to life and make the characters real! To this day, I can't read a book without bringing it to life. For me, you brought the story of the fox in the woods to brilliant and colorful life, a life that I can expound upon and have with the wild imagination I have. OH! I'm so sorry for you. :( It's definitely hard loosing a pet. I've lost one dog due to cancer and old age. It's never easy - especially around the holidays :(

Oh I loved this one!!!! I have 2 dogs and I wonder now what they see too- i am so curious about Dr Ph Martins watercolors- but pretty soon I will be in an RV going on an adventure- Im thinking the Ph Martins wouldnt like the driving all over the place? glass and RV travel does not mix well- I saw the packaging on them too- is it enough to absorb the shock? I hope so because they were on my christmas list!!! :)
how do you build your art style? i tried, but nothing comes out original...for eg. i tried drawing a princess it turned out to look alot like pixar characters. having trouble developing my own unique style. :(

What type of pencil did you use to sketch this out? graphite? watercolor-based? thanks again!
I actually use simple mechanical pencils from Walmart - although I know they aren't the best I still love they way they feel in my hand :)
