i remember wanting to sing circle of life when i was little.. i used to say when im old enough im gonna be in animazement.. too bad its gone.. but i did get to see the last show.. i pray that they bring back a similar show so i could be in it
Actually, there's a rumor going around that Disneyland will be releasing a new musical to take over Princess Fantasy Faire called Mickey and the Magical Map, which i think is a blend of Epic Mickey and this show! sounds really interesting.
Pretty sure Disney dropped this so they could cut the actors' payrolls out of the overall budget. Replaced it with something that makes them money... the princess dressup shlock. Another part of the once greatest place on earth retired to our memories. This was a truly amazing show (and it gave us a place to rest!)
@Jake Koeppe This is actually 100% true! Although, the concept sounds similar to Epic Mickey, any parallels will be completely unintentional. I can't wait to experience a stage show once again in the Fantasyland Theater
And it's a bad mistake in Disneyland history. Let's hope Disneyland is making a new show for Fantasyland Theatre someday. And possibly rebuild Fantasyland Theatre into an enclosed theatre like the Hyperion at DCA.

This show should have waited until the Disney Renaissance was over, that way they could have included Mulan and Tarzan in it.
I miss this show I used to watch it every time we went to disneyland, they haven't had a show in that theatre for a long time...what a waste
