When I was 14-15 I was in a relationship with a girl that went south, I suffer from anxiety and depression from the incidents with her. Me and her had band together which was too much for me. One day in my general employment class I discovered something called music therapy. I realize that there is so much more to music then a band director, artist, etc. Music IS a therapy for me and many other's. Which is why I'm working on my way to committing to a college in San Antonio TX called UIW to get a degree in it.

Hello. I am a music teacher and I am trying to teach my students about music therapy virtually. May I use this video in our virtual learning program?

Do you need a Master’s Degree in Music Therapy to begin practice? I am giving the field some thought. Is it too late to begin at 53 years old?

I’ve done some research, sorry it’s super late then when this first came out but you need a bachelors degree, knowledge in music, how to play one or more instruments and have knowledge in psychology. I say it’s never too late to learn you’ll just have to be willing to take the time to learn

Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "music theory workbooks for beginners" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Foonlant Dumbstruck Formula - (do a search on google ) ? It is a good exclusive guide for discovering how to teach your child to read music notes without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my partner got excellent success with it.
