Do you think it would be possible to remove the bottom clamp and hose without access from underneath? For example, if you remove the top hose and the two 10mm bolts & bracket, would you be able to tip the intercooler forward enough that you might be able to get at the bottom hose? And then when installing the new one, install the bottom hose first, before attaching anything else.
@ tried it just a little while ago, I think it would be possible with some battling, but I didn’t feel like fighting with it for too long. Took out just the front bolts for the under shield, and had good enough access without having to remove the under shield altogether. Nice to have power restored to the Santa Fe, can’t believe the fix was so easy. The wastegate actuator was seized up a few months ago and threw a code. Replaced that and some power returned, but not fully. After some searching on TH-cam found your video, and that was it. Thanks!
Absolutely they say that because its made in plastic instead of aluminum... I wad in the same dileme than you and I decided to ordering it to try and it's fit at 100%

Everywhere I look it says that the 2017 intercooler doesn't fit on my 2015. Are you positive that the 2017 intercooler fit my 2015?
