The Acton Minute Company fifer and drummer struck up White Cockade as they confronted the British at Old North Bridge in Concord. A Jacobite tune to gall the regulars.

The reason most fifers call this tune Frog in the Well today is because that is the title used in Hart's 1862 drum and fife manual. This is a corruption of a verse from the tune that goes, "There was a frog who lived in a pool, Sing song Kitty can't you ki' me oh!"
Seach for Keemo Kimo in youtube. You'll find some good banjo renditions.

From my understanding the second one IS frog in the well... Was Kimmo kimo the original name?
