2) Silver has tilekineses,he can fly and also uses chaos control.
3)Knuckles can punch so hard the ground explodes near where he punches.
4) Blaze has pyrocenesis
5) Amy's hammer is even strong enough to keep up with Knuckles's puches.
6) Chaos control can warp reality,bend it,destory it,time travel,teleport and erase the universe.
7)Sonic is faster than light,durable enough to survive explosions and strong enough to lift huge boxes.

Round 3: XD Well, this one wasn't hard to predict.
Round 4: Ehh, that wrap up is pretty debatable.... Sonic's friends have some good versatility as well, such as the ability to fly, without using any machines.
Round 5: Yeah, this one works.
Overall: Maybe it is just me, but it seems like you wen't out of your way to give Crash his points. Sure Sonic came out on top anyway, but I don't think it should have been that close.

Sonic's cast is quite varried rounding out at around 20 other characters. lot to choose from to make interesting mechanics and personalities out of.

The only reason why you don't see them much in the past 10 years is because people kept on complaining about how "annoying" they are when they aren't even annoying to begin with.
There's 20 other characters in the cast with barely a repeat. To say that they're all annoying is ridiculous.

Problem is, if every game were to be included, Sonic, despite having really bad games, still has way more games to pick abilities and pretty much everything from. Even this round was biased, as Sonic's allies, while often behind the scenes (except for Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and even Blaze and Silver), have always been useful to at least move the plot forward. What's more, it's kind of biased that he didn't mention Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Blaze, or Silver WITH their in-game abilities, as these are more than enough to utterly defeat Crash' gang, from what I know.
Plus, more people love Sonic anyways, and at least he has more games coming for him. Crash is pretty much as dead as classic Mega Man.

Daiquawan Pickard Also has an edgy hedgehog buddy who says damn and rides a motorcycle. Plus using chaos control, and the other chaos things. Silver the hedgehog as well, since he can use Psi, using it to levitate, or pick up and throw things. Sonic has better allies

Coco can build almost anything as well. She created all the vehicles and weapons from scratch. Crunch fills Knuckles' role as the powerhouse, while Crash is the all-arounder with balanced speed, and power.
They gave it to crash because of teaming up with cortex and having coco and crunch when clear can be countered with teaming up with eggman who is far smarter and has tails which has created better inventions and knuckles which is stronger and faster than crunch then you got other allies like shadow and blaze?? Trully, I was shocked when Crash won allies competition. Why? Sonic has much more allies that can do plenty of different stuff. Because he was working together with Neo Cortex? Sonic atually did the same in anime. But I don't say it because I prefer Sonic. I like them both. And I never played any Sonic games (except one, that was on NES).

I am huge fan of both of these series, but honestly WatchMojo kinda stacked the criteria in Sonic's favor. Crash actually has a chance if you count that he has been through time and space; same as Sonic, but he's also travelled to other dimensions, meaning that Crash has a broader spectrum of adventure as a whole. Sonic's been to more places, but they aren't as dangerous or unique as where Crash has gone. Plus Crash is more quick-witted than he appears to be, having little-to-no advantage over any of his foes, but he always finding a way to defeat them. Crash has fought a larger amount of foes. Sonic's *normally* only up against Eggman, or another new hedgehog/robot. Crash has fought a bunch of different enemies with differing abilities. Also Endurance-wise they didn't mention that Crash would have to be pretty tough to spin faster than the speed of sound, and hit things at that force. Plus, Crash can get pretty fast too, not as fast as Sonic, but still enough to at least keep up with him. Crash normally doesn't try to get in a fight, but loves the adventure involved and is highly determined to stop Cortex and his ambitions no matter how many times he has to do it. WatchMojo never really mentioned the kinds of tools that both characters have at their disposal either. Sonic has the Chaos Emeralds, obviously and his own plane (Not the Tornado, the Sonic Plane) Bounce attack, Light Dash, Peel Out, Sonic Boost; a bunch of things to do with his speed. Crash on the other hand has abilities that help him in all situations. A biplane, Jet-Ski, Jetpack (And Helicopter Pack), a freaking Jeep, Wumpa Bazooka, Speed Shoes, Death Tornado Spin, and probably the most helpful, Aku-Aku among many more abilities. Also, Intelligence; really? It's obvious that Crash wouldn't win that one. I'm not saying Crash would win, but at least give him a chance.

THECHOSENONE ENONESOHCEHT Crash has been to the same places. The Tenth dimension is a dead ringer for Crisis City and Crash has been in space multiple times without a helmet or suit.
While i was watching this i noticed something weird... When you showed a part of the level ice climb from crash twinsanity the song i heard was not the one wich go used that mmakes believe that you maybe have an early version of the game something that fans of the game have been searching for years so if this is true let me know

- crash game has changed publisher and develloper many time, but sonic has always the same: Sega
- sonic game are made in japan, but crash game are made in USA
- crash saga is almost dead, sonic saga was made game today

Why did Crash win the allies category? If you were to put tails and knuckles against coco and crunch it wouldn't even be a competition.
Also rather than listing big and cream why didn't you list shadow or silver who could single handedly kill all of crash's friends?

all Sonic needs for allies are Blaze Shadow and Silver and boom Crash's allies destroyed
If I were to say anything, I believe Shadow (with Chaos Control) or Silver (with his telekinesis), or even Blaze (thanks to her rather... fiery powers) could easily compete with Aku Aku (not that they'd be able to kill him, but defeat him? That's another question entirely, as both three Sonic characters are known for being somewhat overpowered, with the example being Blaze who is more than capable of taking on Sonic in a SPEED fight: see Sonic Rush).
Add Amy (Piko-piko hammer. She can use it as easily as King Dedede can use his hammer, and that's saying SOMETHING) and/or Tails (basically the tactician and mechanic of the group, though Sonic also somewhat fits the former role) on top of already having Sonic himself and we already have more than enough to defeat Crash's whole crew.

***** The only one I can think of "edgy all the time" is Shadow, and if he meant personality versatility, then he could've just said so, because if we're talking general versatility, then Sonic's allies still take the cake.

I know right? They just didn't mentioned Shadow, Silver, Vector, Espio, Charmy, or even Tikal. I know Rouge is a sexy bat, but she is really slick, and she is a spy for the government. I mean, nobody would dare cross paths with Shadow. Silver is from the future and has telekinetic powers. Blaze has the Sol Emeralds and can turn into a fire cat (if I'm not wrong). Then the Chaotix are a little dimwitted at times, but they can accomplish their missions. And well, Big is not the most useful character, but hey come on, he always rescues Froggy. And there are many other allies from the comics, tv series, and video games that I haven't mentioned. I could go all day. And by the way, how is Amy a lesser known friend (just like Shadow), they have appeared with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in the All Stars crossovers, and they have done plenty to be heroes (especially in the Adventure and Heroes games). Then again, Sonic has teamed up with Dr Eggman as well multiple times. Sonic should have won that easily.

there's 19 main games in the franchise.
Sonic, 2, 3&K, CD and Chaotix. That's 5 games of the classic era with 4 of them being considered generally good while that one remains forgotten.
Then we have the Dreamcast era with SA1&2, Heroes, and Shadow. That's 4 games of the Dreamcast Era with 2 being generally good and the other 2 being mixed.
Then comes 06, Unleashed, Colors, Generations and Lost World. That's 5 games of the Modern Era with 2.5 being generally good, 1.5 being mixed and one absolutely bad.
Finally is Sonic Advanced, 2, 3, Rush and Rush Adventure. All 5 of these Nintendo handheld games are generally considered fantastic
So to tally up
Good or above: 14.5
Mixed: 3.5

I agree with the outcome but not for the same reasons. Sonic's pure speed and ring powers should've been weighed more heavily rather than just being simple single-point categories.

You guys made the dumbest decision for versatility. Sonic runs through countless ice and tundra stages, extreme heated and fire stages, and many other extreme climate places at larger scales like actually running against the cold air at super sonic speeds in Holaska let alone. Sonic closeness to animals are as well all there just as much as crash. He had a fair share of moments that animals have a liking to him including alien creatures (wisp)...dumb decision on your part..but thats a mindless opinion.

Both of these franchises (along with Pokémon) were my favorites during my early days of gaming. However, Sonic is the first video game series I have ever played so I may be a bit biased in saying Sonic would win, but seriously Super Sonic is almost unstoppable.
