@Exhaust Addicts - This is one of the best videos I found comparing stock exhaust modifications, all in one video. Liked the commentators break down of each modification, on the Dodge Challenger R/TEEEEE!!! LOL!!! I would personally go with #5 set up that’s on the black challenger. Wanted to modify the stock exhaust but didn’t want to go to loud. This help me choose what to go with without having to change it multiple times. Again thanks again, Exhaust Addicts!!!
I loved #3 got that classic muscle car rumble and scream. Reminded me of my old 440 4bbl 71 R/T challenger with 4spd. Had the same crackle between shifts
@@VodKaSlam magnaflows sound sporty and clean. Not raspy and obnoxious. People who don’t want straight attention like you dynomax or loudmouth fans. Plus magnaflows are known for less drone.
My top 3 for Dodge V8 Hemi cars are borla atack as well as corsa extreme, and last but not least the SLP loudmouth cat-back. When I was looking for exhaust to replace the stock pipes on my Challenger, we chose the SLPs and are the best bang for the buck because there's not much to them. They are made up of open chamber racing bullets on 3" pipe, and sounds amazing with the Hemis and allows it's 6.1 to breathe so much better
#5 (black challenger) is my car and I specifically went for that sound with the 40 series. Not too loud but a nice growl. #3 (the blue one) sounds amazing though! He wins!
Great demonstration. I'm glad you took the time to not only explain us what you did. But to tell us what muffler you installed, if you deleted the resonators or not and filming it from the rear up to the converters. Great job!
This is the best exhaust mod comparison video on the tube. Thanks for making it bro. The resonator delete only has weakest idle sound, but it has the best sound when you punch it in my opinion. I would love to see you do a video that includes the Magnaflow XMod Cat Back sound configurable exhaust...you can leave the Magnaflow mid mufflers in or swap them with the Magnaflow straight pipe mid muffler delete that comes with it. It's sounds the best out of all Challenger RT aftermarket exhaust to me and I can't wait until I put one on my 2019 RT
My 2016 is straight piped. It's LOUD even with the cats. It seriously is so loud it scares anyone within 50 feet. I'd only get it if you know you're gonna piss everyone off lol, the sound is super amazing when you get on it though.
I have a 2009 Challenger R/T; I think I will go with the rear resonator delete. It has that deep, throaty, grunt with a series of cracks and pops. That 5.7 Hemi V-8 in the B5 Blue Challenger just sounds more pure and raw in that modification
@@MindfulAura73 The 5.7 Hemi V-8 can be used in numerous applications and equipped in Chrysler vehicles: Dodge Challenger Dodge Charger Dodge Magnum Dodge Durango Chrysler 300C Chrysler Aspen Jeep Grand Cherokee Jeep Commander Ram 1500
Lol I liked hearing his frustration over the comments of over the muffler and resonator. It can definitely get confusing but the diff is a muffler lowers the volume whereas the resonators change the vehicles sound, or how it resonates. Thus the name: resonators. cant imagine anyone dealing with expressway drone when they do this . it drove me insane . dynomax VT mufflers ended all that .but when you open it up the valves open for a straight though exhaust .and sounds great even at idle deep tone.
Owning a shorty header catless straight piped challenger with the 5.7 hemi my vote goes to the last car, magnapaks . And they will soon be on my car and hopefully take it down alot !
Done any 5.7 Hemis but left the rear resonators on? Mid muffler deletes or swapping them with something else? I was thinking Super 10's in the middle with rear resos on my 300, a mild upgrade?! Thanks!
Well, if you like that tone. Personally, I hate that hollow-metal-can sound. Plus, chambered and baffled mufflers don't flow that well. They create a lot of turbulence. Straight-through mufflers are the way to go.
Follow up question. On the Black Challenger (first car being video). You kepted the mid mufflers and deleted the rear resonators. But you clearly say in the video the rear resonators and rear mufflers were deleted. Isn't it the rear resonators delete only?

Flowmaster flow fx is hands down the best
Definitely loved the fx ones ( second to last ) if I did a exhaust on my v8 that’s the one I’d go with!
Ok the white one with the blue racing stripes sounds KILLER
3:11 was clearly the best
purely preference but yessir those straight piped hemis really do shine huh.

I may be biased but straight pipes sound so so good!! My 2015 Challenger RT rocks that set up and I love the sound
I would like to hear the outlaw flowmaster with the resonators for the drone kill. Any video on them?
The first dodge with the flowmaster 40's sounds like my crown vic with aero turbines and rear muffler delete
Flow masters sound the best I ran on my Dodge Ram had a pretty ring to them
#4 cat-back the best has deep and loaud sound

Magnaflow ftw. The tone deepen even further as they age and get some rumbles.
The white flowmaster car is freaking mint

The first flowmasters for me
I like how the blue sounds also

The Magnaflow are the best for sure.

It is between #5 and #1 they both are not too loud...I guess I am getting older lol!
I feel ya. They suppose to sound loud and aggressive
Right there and Right there is all that matters.
I like the magna flow I also like the Flowmaster
The 3rd one sounded good.
Magnaflow is the only one with the true muscle car sound!!! Corsa and Borla are freakin racket makers man

OddTimeMan totally agree with you on the turbulence, seems like I lost some low end torque while I had them
I wish I saw flow master super 10’s more instead of the 40’s
I have them on my ‘16 rt and they sound just a little louder than the fx but very similar
Good stuf giving us real sounds
What is the diameter size I should buy for muffler? I just bought a 2023 rt challenger
