There's really no need to spend money on a whole exhaust for the Challengers, because the stock exhaust with the mufflers and resonators cut off already flows better than an any aftermarket exhaust with mufflers. Add some long tube headers and high flow cats to the stock exhaust + reso and muff delere, and it outperforms any full exhaust system for 1/4 the price.
So my 11 srt8 I just bought has a borla exhaust but sounds really quiet. I did get the car from California you think it’s because it had to pass strick emissions testing
SRT8s require 3" and is what I've got on my Challenger. Except I went with the SLP loudmouth cat backs, and are the best bang for the buck. They do have some drone that a lot of reviewers complain about, but is easily remedied by changing up the RPMs a little and doesn't bother me at all. Is not a daily, so it's no big deal and love the way that the Hemi sounds with a good set of pipes. The best part is that replacing them, also eliminated the reso's and is basically a straight pipe setup. With the open chamber racing bullets, it breathes so much better now and love my Dodge. I was thinking about getting a pedal commander, but the response time is already pretty quick and gets out of the hole fast. Although I do need to get some drag radials because even with 295s, it spins and lose traction. I also got rid of those shop vac style tip's, and replaced them with duals surrounded by carbon fiber
Yeah, this kind of reinforces the idea the Dodge owners are looks only. Dont waste your money on RGB for God's sake, or stance. What a cancer. A 6.4 cam and a shot of nitrous will make your car seriously faster. If your serious.

Just my two cents that changing light mod...yeah, that belongs on ricers. This is a Dodge Challenger not a Honda Civic. It screams boyracer to me lol. However, if they were to stay one nice icy blue color that'd be great
The reason the challengers sit higher is because Dodge wanted a suspension system that was designed to provide a comfortable and quality ride by absorbing road imperfections. It rides much better than its competitive counterparts, the famous mustang and the resurrected camaro. Secondly, the challengers exhaust system is already superior in terms of providing maximum air flow. Deleting the resonator is a much cheaper alternative to a full exhaust system if achieving quality sound is the objective. The other modifications seem good though.
YES...you are correct sir. I bought the Challenger (Used 2009 with only 85K on it).. After test driving the Mustangs and Camaros I like the ride from the R/T... One of the first mods I did on my SRT8, was the exhaust and breathes so much better now. The stock pipes on the older Challengers/Chargers, are terrible and also very heavy with those huge suitcase style resonators. We went with SLP loudmouth cat-backs, and sound incredible together with its 6.1 hemi. The best part about them though, is that they are a simple design and are super lightweight. As heavy as our big beautiful pigs are, every bit counts and is a performance upgrade all by itself with the wt difference. They basically consist of the 3" with open chambered racing bullets, and deletes the resos. Then we did a diablo tune on her, and am looking to do a cam next 💪🏼😎
I would like to ask anyone if I can get some advice about my 2019 Challenger R/T 5.7L. The dealer keeps telling me that this is a normal for all HEMI engines, of course, I'm not satisfied with these answers. I read that if the Throttle Body is upgrades to 85mm, this would resolve the problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
