whoever you got the part from screwed the pooch on that rear quarter. the quarter and the rocker are all one piece and it can be removed from the vehicle. the rocker portion is glued to the car and a torch has to be used to heat the metal where the glue is. This will release it without causing any damage to the part. They cut right through the middle of the rocker. WOW
That looks like it was a pain to remove. I will be doing the same thing to my Dart shortly. I don't believe Dodge used quite as much adhesive or panel bond, but I know there is some.
If you can find a picture of the back side of a removed one so that you know where all the adhesive is, it probably won’t be too bad. It’s just a nightmare when you are trying to do it blindly by heating the whole thing. Also, if you get it too hot you can warp it.

Thanks for watching! Keep watching the next few episodes to see how we dealt with removing the quarter. They are in order on our playlist.
Was it possible to get a new quarter panel?
No, they are no longer available. Thanks for watching!
@@rebuildit It's too bad that an aftermarket company has not picked up on these. There are still plenty of them out there.
I know, it would make our lives a lot easier fixing them.
