As a Mexican I like the main focuses of my nation but I feel that a monarchical approach is needed in which you can bring back the Habsburgs, the Moctezumas or the Iturbides. similar to that of France (although not as empty). But I know that Paradox will never do that.
The Habsburgs should be priority is it's the most recent and there's paths like for other former Habsburg Dominions plus the Habsburg you got was the only one that wasn't power hungry
