Fastest Way To Travel In LEGO Fortnite

//About me:
I wait, I wait, I wait...the double. TwoQuickOnes - เกม
you can use a tire to brake, like, place them on the wall you would crash into, and place one in front of your wagon, it wont break
Amazing! Thanks for that. I think I'd add a couple of chests on the carts to help with farming materials from distant areas too.
Love the Lego Fortnite content recently bro! Stay on that grind!
I’m gonna pump out a bunch this month! I’m having fun with this game!
Appreciate the build, but if anyone is watching checks, don't go with this build. If you do, use granite rails minimum(it's easier to collect imo just go to the coast for it), but single wide floors are better for a No-wheel design, less friction.
I would also add balloons to any like this to speed it up, but be careful with too many. Wheels are best though, but you gotta keep it light weight or it breaks on relog.
Still, you can have 2 double platform cars(4 platforms), using 2-3 small thrusters and go 20x faster than this build with 3 large thrusters.
Also, beware crossing any part of the ocean. I'm not 100%, but I made one that works flawlessly in every way, outside one tiny issue. Everytime I go through a certain section of my track, all my wheels disappear(with glass shatter sound even). Thrusters and switch stay however.
After countless rebuilds and testing lighter builds and using a creative world for even more extreme distances, I've narrowed it down to a biome change lag. And it's only when going into or out of the section over open water.
So, these builds are superior, just avoid the ocean with wheels. And it's basically the exact same build as this video, except dual rails(1 nudge out from the dynamic platform), and the cars use 2 platforms instead of 1 each. Then add the wheels on the side to ride on top of the rail, and put the guide wheels in the corners against the inside of the rails.
I also advise putting your thrusters somewhere else(not back), like using a beam attached to the side and putting it on those. This is so you can put small tires on front/back of the cars. Make a triangle with your placement so that no tire would overlap vertically or horizontally, then flip that triangle on the end caps of the rails and the opposite car.
This creates a cushion between the cars and also locks them together vertically(I had some cars climb on top of each other or over the end of the rails). You want the tires to fit together like a puzzle piece. Rightsideup triangle on one car, upside down other.
Then you can SLAM into the end caps with usually zero damage and with zero risk of derail. Only other advice I have, is use the "bay window" roof piece as a gangway. It should fit perfectly between the tires on the side, reaches out over the rail for getting off the car, and has softer edges than any floor option. Oh and put your switches on a table ffs. Just grab that tiny 1x2 cabin table, put your switch on it. No more looking down all the time and looks so much better.
Oh, also if you want a braking system. I'm still workshopping it, but I've had decent results building something close to the end cap that has a lot of wheels mounted to it rolling against a smooth surface on the car. It doesn't always slow it enough, but it adds a decent amount of friction to slow you down.
That said, I stress test my builds harshly, so it was mostly effective at normal thruster output range. All these little tricks work mostly flawless with a "normal" amount of power(about 5-10x faster than the build in this video), but when I start slamming large thrusters everywhere is when I break them or they fail. You don't need large thrusters with this design.
Do you have a video of you testing? I would love to see you make one
@@apolloniais I don't, no option to record really unless I reinstall obs. I will say I've run into other issues. I don't even know if the ocean is the problem anymore.
I think the map is sectioned off and transitioning through that divide is the issue. The wheeled design works fine, until I hit that point.
But even non-wheeled ones have issues. I replaced it with a no wheel design and sometimes it breaks its guides/rail during the transition because the entire car gets a jarring lurch.
But I would still prefer wheels over any distance that doesn't transition that kind of boundary. I just have a very long rail(about 70% map length) and it's causing issues.
My wheeled elevator works flawlessly. Those builds do as well until transition. I will throw out, that on non-wheeled designs, using the castle gate(in fences) as a guide works well and can be right against the rail, unlike most guides. Works kinda like a buffer.
@@atheos.1383 bruh just record on your phone we cant picture this in lego 😭 every build video these freaking things just break! I've lost 1k wood
@@Short.. I'll try and do that later tonight when I play.
how many balloons would you recommend?
If you use tires at the stoppers, then they shouldn't break, regardless (I think). I would also consider moving the stoppers below the track to avoid collision with thrusters. Adding a few small balloons might help with friction, assuming that your tires are not too tight etc.. Cheers.
If u use balloons with the tire method you will fly off
@@aroombaseganara4784not if you make the monorail where you can make turns, go up, down, etc...
3:54 I’m putting this here so I don’t forget my time
Omg this is cool thanks I'm definitely going to build this, I have such a hard time figuring out switches and thrusters, we tried to build a lifting door after the 20th fail I destroyed it and built a normal door
I like to know how to get the track part connect because on the ps5 it won’t let you do that I keep getting red marks not letting me make a track.
i needed this thanks🙏🏽
no worries! more tutorials coming soon! if you need help with something let me know!
Thank you for the info I can finally travel quickly to my locations on the map😅
I know it’s been driving me crazy having to run so much!!
Would connecting the two dynamic foundations with some panels cause the switches to only work on one side for thrusters?
Small red balloons would glide it better
i get it to go and then it wont move anymore. idk if this is due to the tires but its so hard to make them perfect in survival. not sure what im doing wrong
thx a lot
Use tires on the bumper walls at the ends of the track and it wont break like that
fking love this game xD
Honestly this is the best video on this issue I've seen yet. Thank you.
I gotchu!
@@TwoQuickOnes you are real homie
you might as well run if thats how fast it is 💀
can you put tires to stop the collision ?
This is a great rail system. I made one and it worked fantastic, but when I logged out and then back in later, somehow the train was off the track, directly below where i had left it....
Happens to me to with my planes, I come back and they are randomly in the sky lmao
THANK YOU SO MUCH
No problem
i try to build my train, i just dont know the engine systeme yiet( like with the key tool ( craft bench) you can change the trusters, like if i want to go this way or the other..., i dont know...im learning lol) ☺️i use granit for the track, its more resistant, but im not playing on surval mode, just sandbox. its been only few months i discover this game lego fortnite ☺️thank you for your video
The mechanics in this game are like redstone 2.0
Its an amazing concept with endless possibilities ✨️
So you can't control where the signal goes much at all and your calling it redstone 2.0. Make a functional computer first
How to build the slowest rail cart: 😂. Runnings faster
No shot
This is cool, but I think it's a lot easier just to build a bunch of stairs way into the sky, and glide off them. I have them all over the map between the locations where I want to go regularly. Honestly, it will save you time in the long run (of course that only matters if you're doing it to save time).
why did you watch the vid then lol
@@PrestonGarvey87Cuz..... "This is cool".
I hate having stairs and launch pads randomly around the map it looks horrible
@@adamc.4665 Kind of a dated post to respond to, now that we have vehicles and steerable airships. With all that, monorails are an even worse idea than they used to be, from a practical point of view.
if you put grease on it you wont get the friction and it will move faster.
Hehe let a box hang and make turns 😂
nice
i tried so many, always breaks down after relog...
Ok, but how do I keep the rockets and the tires from just despawning for no reason, lol?
Its a bug it respawns after u build on the item its attached to
i'm stealing this idea for my world if that's ok
one day i want to build a bus, so my fortnite friend can drive the bus, or the train, ist nice, you dont need to walk ☺️😅and the map is big for a tiny lego 😂
You can do it!
think is faster by running.
would gloves be of any help?
Why is it so hard to get the rails even😭😭😭😭
Chip
You can see the wood breaking. Don't waste your time.
but it works. i also switch to a granite foundation which works even better
after 1-2 runs the tires will break too. Sadly, waste of time
You should put the Large Wheel on the Wood, it won't break. I already done super speed with 8x Big Thruster and push the Large Wheel so hard.
@@TwoQuickOnes after all the other ones that I seen the wood taking damag, I'm going with one that doesn't
Hopefully we'll get iron rails soon
if you started out in Survival, where GRAVITYYYYYYYYYYY exist, how do i do this? since i can't fly like some goddamn birdman?
It’s totally possible!! Next time I play i can show you
I just build skybridges; ramps to glide from, isn't gliding faster?
But it’s not cool
Stamina is limited
Btw when next stream
tomorrow!
@@TwoQuickOnesYIPPEEEE ITS TODAYYY :D
Bro walking is faster lol
Won’t last long. Non of them do. I wasted hours on 6/7 other oeopkes design that breaks. That’s why nobody goes on them very far in videos.
I uses this same build in survival and it still works
Save your time. This one is no good either.
What’s wrong with it? I’ve been using it in my own survival game and it works fine.
I'd like an explanation also... because I am going to build this RIGHT NOW.
I've experienced the wheels breaking every now and then. this also happens with literally every version though. its nto a design flaw it just happens sometimes with how the games physics work right now
I built the same thing recently and while travelling along on the train, one train ends up going over the one in front of it, either way, infuriating on survival mode
funny u say this but only show sandbox examples... wonder why?... @@TwoQuickOnes
Thumbs up! Thanks, going to do this right now in my game.
@ryanmanning4273 did you ever test it?? I don't think so because I just did on 12-19-23 and it works just as expected, Very well !
I made one change, I put the wheels one space away from the rail just on one side, it seems to glide better.
