Best way is a 2 way mono rail. Build a guided tack with two platforms. One platform thrusted one way and the other the other way. On the bottom of each platform place 4 wheels to keep them on the guided track. Simple and you go were you want

The BEST way is still the large balloon and a single small thruster / activation switch. Cheap and effective ! Gets me everywhere!

Just use granite blocks x4 (two each side)
It's worked for me and for hours (often saving materials and hours.)

I don't even add wheels! I just use granite blocks and slowly weigh it down!
The less material used the better (in my eyes.) That way if anything goes wrong (as it often glitches or does) it's easy to build another.
You can't glide from this height ... gliding uses stamina.

you can drop and glide a few times or just glide until your stamina runs out and fall in a forward direction then air attack right before landing to not take fall damage. still better than running that distance imo.

actually a while back lego fortnite had a glitch where some peopel would spawn 1000's of meters away, so me and my friends built an airship to rescure the people who spawned 10,000m away
I built towers with launch pads to move quickly between villages in different biomes. I placed towers with launch pads every spot I land from gliding from the previous launch pads. Plus because they are at least 6 stories tall, it is easy to know I am heading in the right direction to the next village.
Gotta be honest a well built airship with turning and landing is much quicker than gliding or any other method of transport (plus you can put chests on the ship)
just give us fast travel but limit bases if its heavy on servers. even basic fast travel like arc evolved where you drop backpacks would be nice that way i only need to make 1 way trip not 2.
problem with the flying vehicle is that when what i think its the border between chunks, you get a weird lag that makes your character step a side, what normally means you get splitted off the vehicle

They should add an anchor for flying ships like the destiny's bounty
This game is unplayable without faster travel modes
The easiest and fastest qay to travel is large baloon, 2 largw thrusters. Make sure you already have your glider.
You may need more large baloons if going over snowy biome mountains. When at destination, just break the platform and you should get all your materials back.
Open your glider before hitting the floor and you're fine.
There’s a strat where you can glide for 5 minutes. It’s so useful

the map is so huge. i was hours lost in the desert.
I spent hours and hours days and days building the train but it only works for like a minute then for some reason it always flys off the track. I promise I’m doing everything right. I think when my villager or a friend gets on it with me it becomes unstable? Idk. I’m done with it. Buuut I did just built a path in the sky from all corners on the map. Running on it is also fast and I avoided enemies.
Damn i'm not alone, man i made like 5 differents rails system from differents tutorials, wasted thousand of wood, its just fucking waste of time, i'm now using them as a path from the sky like u and i've built a giant elevator to use the glider far away from my home

yup ive spent like the last few days trying to perfect my trains and tried many methods. My biggest issue is when you start the game or enter a new loading zone, the train spawns funky and falls off the rail. its really not worth the trouble in survival mode unless your village is near a desert where you can get blast powder easily. even my elevators spawn outside of its track sometimes and floats up into the sky
Dude, if villagers had a backpack or could take things back to a chest for you - that would be awesome!

I don’t know why they won’t just add pre built cars or bikes, especially since there’s already cars in regular Fortnite and it works perfectly, I hope they add that over as a lego version.

Most of these youtubers just play creative without testing it in survival
Also you should turn stamina off in survival it's the dumbest mechanic and isn't really needed

@shadowsintox9 lol not at all my scrub friend it's called efficiency, stamina is only there to be an annoyance and shouldn't be in any survival game not just this. Got over 800 games my scrub friend now sit back down and color

Unfortunately the train (build same like you) is buggy as hell and i lost 3 parts due to gitching through the railway

youre not alone. ive even tried putting braces on the bottom to keep it from falling off and that doesnt help when you load the game cause sometimes it just spawns in sideways or something

All you have to do is put your grappler in a chest and then take it out for full durability don’t even have to break the chest

I made a "monorail" from scratch, no tutorials just wanted easy rotation to frostlands👍 Have one For desert too
Has it broken for you? All the tutorials I see the comments people say they break or despawn randomly. Don’t wanna spend hours building it if it can possibly break
@@DarkKiller-0 i mean it hasn't broken yet or anything and not despawned at all. Buuut i know The risks thats why i keep extra resources to Make a new one If it happens to disappear. Worken For me perfectlt
