They can not install a long gear box on a weak engine, and the fact that this bike have 6 gear like annother normal super bike. This bike's engine also produce over 215 hp meanwhile the H2 with supercharged stop at 203 hp.

It stopped at exactly 299kph on the display which is probably an EU top speed regulation (the computer limits the engine when it hits 299), and it probably does hit 299 in 4th gear. Close ratio gearbox you probably only get another 20 or 30 kph out of it in 5th and 6th but if it'll top out at 299 in 4th, why shift to 5th? I have a Duc 999r, I never got it out of 4th on the track, but I never went 299 either.

The Panigale V4S reached 316 kph in a German newspaper test (GPS measured on a high speed circuit in Nardo) with roughly the same power.
