I've heard the same thing. I just googled it and got conflicting results. I'm from Massachusetts and we have some really old weird laws as well but they are not enforced because they were written so long ago and are outdated in today's society.
Phew I personally always thought that state is named "Kansas". (Not from US). How many years in prison will I get now? I better run and hide in the woods now. And maybe hunt some campers or hikers, because everyone has to eat now and then muaaaharrharrharrharr.....

Here's a personal experience of mine that happened in Arkansas (my home state)
At the time I was 12 and me and my friends decided to go to a local graveyard because we were bored. It was a 5 minute ride on our bikes so we would frequently go there. Here's the setting of the story. The graveyard is located behind a bunch of newly built houses and to get there we need to go to the end of the street, then make a right at the last house to the trail that runs behind the houses to the graveyard. Now back to the story. So we were riding down the street we needed to go to get to the graveyard when he came across a car that had 2 people it, a male and a female. The male was waving his hands around in the car and talking very loudly. We thought he was robbing the woman because she was handing him money and he was taking it. So we circled around the block trying to get some good looks while not looking suspicious at the same time. After about 3 minutes of that we got bored and we needed to pass the car to get to the trail so when we went to pass him he jumped out of the car and said "Get the fuck out of here you fucking kids" while pointing a knife at us. We booked it out of there was when we got back to our houses we just laughed it off. It got dark and we were sitting in the driveway of my friends house taking then all a sudden my friend points out the same guy that was in the car walking towards us really fast with his hood up and his hands in his pockets. We ran to my porch and hid behind some bushes as if he couldn't see us

Oh wow, I didn't realize you lived here too. I have some really creepy stories of my own here from seeing a UFO, my own sibling who passed away walk through the halls of our house, & to even seeing my cat Tessa freaking out and puffing/growling at something that isn't even there. So, it's nice to see an many other Arkansans with their own stories to tell since I don't know many skeptics here.
I've seen many ufos in Arkansas. The craziest one was a silent black triangle that hovered over me and 2 strangers in a parking lot.

Darkness Prevails I've got a couple stories, nothing terrifying just strange. I was at my uncles cabin in Alabama, a state away from my home. Me and my cousin could hear two pieces of metal being hit together in the middle of some trees but there was nothing. We even walked through all of it, felt like it was only a few feet away but nothing.

my creepy story for Arkansas: so all of us were sitting in the car and my mom was driving. behind us there literally was a all black cat.following us. we thought nothing of it, because there was always black cars, and then it was going fast and we thought we were gonna die from him crashing into us. a few minutes later it... disappeared. like it was never there.

My uncle was really into metal detecting, as were his friends. He told me that one night one of his friends (illegally) snuck onto the Prairie Grove or Pea Ridge Battlefield (cant remember which one) to metal detect. He said he got a hit on a spot and bent down to start digging it up. As he was digging, he heard footsteps behind him, not too far away but they were right behind him in an instant. He turned around to see nobody was there and promptly packed up his things and left.
Arkansas is a very pretty state! Eureka Springs is so unique and pretty. There are a lot of rural isolated places there, easy to think of lots of mysterious things can exist there without being discovered

When my mom was small, she told me a story about some half horse half human thing. She kept saying that it was trying to get in the house by slamming itself into the walls. My grandpa has hunting rifles and shotguns so he went out there and fired shots at the thing. It went into the woods. I'm not making this up.
I'm from Long Beach, CA, I'm 32, just turned 32, today as a matter of fact, anyways I've been stranded in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, just crazy and mean streets, Little Rock, AR, something happened there I will never forget I only have told a hand full of close friends being it's sounds Ludacris, it's to much to say in a comment and if you know what gang stalking is that's what I experienced, if someone was to have told me that they went through a situation like what I did I would have laughed and told them there crazy. . Darkness Prevails, you do a great job and I enjoy this way more than T. V. even though I don't really watch it.. If your interested in my story let me know it would take a 20 to 30 min video just to explain everything that happened in the 1 day in Little Rock, AR. .

I'm originally from Arkansas but moved to CT when I was 4. After highschool I moved back to Arkansas just to see what it would be like( and because my parents moved back to their home state ). I had some great times ....and some really creepy, strange times too. Needless to say, im back in CT ;) AR holds a special place in my heart!

My great great grandma lived in Arkansa & had run off a lg. critter that was trying to get into the cabin. At the time her cabin had no doors or Windows like houses do today...
