I hunt by myself on 55,746 acres of nothing but woods in Florida, it's public land but you never see anyone on almost 56 thousand acres. Even during archery season I've got a gun with me, bear spray, and a flare. If it's quiet when I get out of my truck, I get right back in and leave. If it gets quiet while I'm in the tree, I sit motionless until it's no longer quiet.

1st story person: we moved to a small rural town of only 2400 people
My town I currently live in: population 440 people

We have only like 140 people that live in my area not the whole county just the are I live in
Dark Wolf Nightcore oh I have a town nearby about that same size where I went to elementary school. Now it’s an exotic zoo off all things with animals like camels and such lol

My town apparently has 113 people. The population signs don't match though, so it might be 109... Either way, there were 14 people in my senior year. There's not even a traffic light in my whole county, nor even a Walmart.

Disagreed, the closer to the raw story the better. You want perfectly written creepy stories, go for some creepy pasta or something. I think the little things as shared by these people, in the way that they speak/think in real life adds a lot of character and authenticity. Most people don't have perfect grammar

They will! Wait till you can find people who appreciate you and are like you, and you will no matter what you think right now. There are so very many people in the world, no one is unique
I'm with you on that. I'm way more comfortable in the wilderness than around a bunch of strangers any day. Though admittedly i have crippling social anxiety, strong loner tendencies, and, I've been told, a distinctly standoffish attitude. Whatever that means. Even when i was a kid I'd rather be in the National Forest behind our property with the friendly neighborhood mountain lion than at school with a bunch of local yokels who didn't know what to make of this quiet kid who showed up one day in 3rd grade with a tie dye, a college reading level, an operational vocabulary surpassing the educators', and a basic understanding of physics and algebra. I hate Arkansas so very much.

Buckle up because this is was frickin creepy.
I'm almost 16 now, but i was around 13 when this happened. My parents and i were hiking around the Superstition Mountains, the haunted ones in Arizona. We had a few coyotes following us, i was 5 foot at the time, now i'm 5'4, so my parents told me to stay in the middle between them so they wouldn't try anything. Around 20 minutes after we started hiking, we stopped for some reason. A few rocks fell off the cliff above us and we looked up. This, thing, looked 7-8 feet tall and let out the most blood curdling scream i've ever heard. This frickin thing climbed this near vertical cliff and up into the mountains. Us, being stupid, chased after it. The footprints, after about 300 feet, morphed from what looked like deer hoofprints to both hand and hoofprints. The stance and length between the hand and hoofprints clearly showed that whatever this thing was turned around every few feet to check if it was being followed. I seriously dont know what it was, but it was creepy.
